Der Kommissar 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Well, San Jose St. just went up 7-0 on Boise St. in the first quarter. That was somewhat surprising. I don't think it will hold up though. I must say though that I like San Jose St.'s uniforms.
Der Kommissar 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Interesting score of the moment: Temple 21 Syracuse 3 Now I know Syracuse is far from good, but they are in second right now in the Big East race, yet they are gettng beaten up woeful 1-8 Temple? How far has the Big East fallen this year? This is just sad.
Bored 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 I guess Temple wants to make a statement in the Big East before being booted out after this year. It sounds like there are more Iowa fans than Minnesota fans at the Metrodome. The Golden Gophers are lucky they are only down 23-10 as Iowa has just dominated them so far. San Jose State goes back up 21-14 on Boise State. Come on BSU is not a Top 10 team. They'll probably still win this game but they are struggling against maybe one of the Bottom 10 teams in the country.
Der Kommissar 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Speaking of Top Ten teams struggling against mediocre opponents, it looks like Texas sleepwalked through the first half of their game against Kansas, down 9-7 early. After last week, I am assuming Texas will bounce back and win, but for now, I'll just sit back and enjoy the fact that they are losing a game to KANSAS of all teams. Continuing the trend of mediocrity in the Big East, it looks like West Virginia is getting beaten up at the half by Boston College 24-7. I am so going to enjoy seeing Louisville run roughshod over the Big East next year.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Yeah after what happened to OSU.....I don't think I trust Texas being down at all.
Bored 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 I don't have the game here but Boston College is crushing West Virginia at the moment 24-7. If BC holds on they will control their own destiny to go to a BCS bowl.
Der Kommissar 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Another interesting score: Duke 6 Clemson 3 Geez. Rutgers beat Michigan St. a few weeks ago, Baylor beat Texas A & M earlier in the season, Temple is destroying Syracuse, Duke and Kansas both have a lead against notable teams. What's up with all these perennial doormats actually improving and being able to pull a few upsets all of a sudden? I am not sure I can live in a world where teams like Baylor are playing competitive football.

teke184 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Christ... Boise State and San Jose are tied at 35 in the 4th. As good as Boise State is, it would be humiliating to lose to a team that's on the verge of dropping back down to I-AA.
Der Kommissar 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Kansas just took the lead on Texas 16-13 in the 4th quarter. Texas better turn it on quick. EDIT: 23-13. This is getting interesting.
teke184 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Holy FUCK, Kansas just hung up another TD on Texas. Goodbye, Mack Brown.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Well, if UT loses to KU, I won't feel so bad anymore about KSU losing to them Plus... it's UT losing, that's always good EDIT: Oh yeah, and like teke said, it'll make a stronger case for giving Brown the boot
Bored 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Coming into today the Big XII North was 0-13 against Big XII South teams not named Baylor. Utah is rejoicing right now if Kansas holds on.

Bored 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 It's all over: Temple 34, Syracuse 24 It's also pretty much all over for West Virginia as Boston College returns a punt back for a touchdown to put the game away, 36-17. BC needs just to win at Temple and at home against Syracuse to go to get the Big East's BCS berth in their final year in the conference.

Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Damn, KU had Texas on 4th and 18 and gave up a 20 yard run by the QB I can't believe I'm going for KU, but I hate Texas and want Utah to shake up the BCS
