Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2004 from Roadside America: September 2004: Laura Koser, a graduate student at the University of South Carolina, is researching the history of South of the Border for her Master's thesis. She's gathering personal recollections of visitors to the attraction. "Although I'm focusing on the period 1965-2001, any information about SOB from any time throughout its history 1949-2001 would be helpful (in fact, if I ever find anyone old enough to have visited the original beer depot in 1949 who is willing to admit it that would be great!)." Send your memories in by November 30! Her e-mail is [email protected] Here's the Roadside America page for SOTB: http://www.roadsideamerica.com/attract/SCDILsob.html Anything with a giant sombrero tower and a few thousand billboards couldn't be that bad, right? Has anybody else been there?
