Meltzer star ratings

Watching the rise and fall of ECW DVD last night had me thinking of their match catelog. Anyone have or know where I can find a listing of Observer star ratings for ECW matches?

Meltzer only really rated what was shown on TV. He almost never went to Arena shows, so any ratings in the Observer from those shows were based on what correspondents said. The only Arena show I know for sure he saw in person was N2R 1996. Are there any matches in particular you're interested in his ratings for ?

I'd like to see his ratings for the RVD/Sabu Stretcher Match, personally. That and maybe Raven/Stevie Richards vs. Pitbulls, 2/3 Falls Dog Collar (the most overrated match in ECW history, more so than any of the RVD/Lynn series).

Those are probably correspondent ratings, as I don't think he gave star ratings for them when they were on TV.

Without question, the worst PPV I've ever seen. It also has the distinction of having the worst Terry Funk promo EVER... He must of snorted a few lines with Jake(and possibly Heyman) before the show, because he rambled on incoherently for what must of been half an hour. I hadn't a clue what he was trying to say until Dreamer came out.

 

The majority of matches were absolute clusterfucks, it looks as if Heyman was trying to cram as much shit into the show as possible. There wasn't one match I would rate above average, and I like ECW...

There wasn't even really a match to Raven/Funk. When you take out all the stalling and side bullshit it was basically Raven punching Funk and Funk's rollup.

Yeah, I would agree that N2R 98 is surely one of the worst PPV's I've ever seen. Now, I would totally watch it over WWF KOTR 95, but it's pretty terrible in it's own right.
