Jobber of the Week Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 Watching Regal trying to be a one-man savior by pulling Goldberg into the "higher than one star" category changed my opinion of Regal. I used to think the gimmick was overly cliche and his physique was way too flabby for TV wrestling
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 I've never been much of a fan of his in ring work, mainly because his style clashes with almost everyone he wrestles. He has good matches occasionally, but it's his interviews and backstage stuff that is great, where he's allowed to be something other than the pompous british twit WCW molded him into. His Real Mans Man shit was funny as hell though.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 His Real Mans Man shit was funny as hell though. He's a man, such a man (such a man) He's a real...real man's man. He's a man, such a man (such a man) He's a real...real man's man. He's a man, such a man (such a man) He's a real...real man's man. He's a man, such a man (such a man) He's a real...real man's man. That gimmick had tremendous comic potential.

The Amazing Rando Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 Shut up, that's retarded. Quit being so retarded. We should call you The Amazing Retarded... Guy... ...And Stuff.
Guest W_Hillard Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 Batista/Flair vs. Dudleyz at RR2004. The match sucked so damned bad. I fast forward through it whenever I watch that DVD now.
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 ...Who was the person that changed your opinion about?
Guest W_Hillard Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Honestly, I lost some amount of respect for the Dudleyz. I was a HUGE mark for the Dudley Boyz up until that point. That match seemed to be designed to make Batista look good and little else.
