Guest MikeSC Report post Posted November 22, 2004 The N word is a rarity over here - former soccer manager Ron Atkinson was sacked from his TV job for saying it when he thought his microphone was dead and it got huge press because it just isn't a word used. The only time I ever hear it is when I'm unlucky enough to hear some US rap music. And, yeah, I forgot everyone not born in the US is actually just like Hitler, my mistake. But there's similar attitude is the US, if not to Jews. Millions of peope didn't vote for Kennedy as he was a Catholic. Wow, not voting for a guy is almost comparable to the rather out-of-control anti-Semitism of Europe. Damned near the exact same thing! Europeans are exceptionally racist people. The Spanish are very differnt to the English, who are very different to the French, who are very different to the Germans etc. It's like me saying the someone from Georgia has the exact same culture as someone from New York. The Slavs in the Eastern European states, and to a lesser extent Russia, are certainly very racist people generally. The rest of the continent, the vast majority are relativly liberal about race and everything. One problem is the history of the continent where everyone has been at war with everyone else at some point, which is where the US does have an advantage as it's such a recent nation and has just had the one civil war. But in the same way I wouldn't say that every American has a southern accent, wears a confederate flag coloured shirt and jeans and hangs blacks and Italians like you did 100 odd years ago to say that all Europeans are by nature exceptionally racist is racism itself.
