Good to see the Joe Schmo actors are getting work

Flipping through the channels today due to my crappy 4 PM NFL games and I caught Whale Rider on one of the channels. During one of the commercials, there was a commercial for Seasonale, a pill that can cause women to get their period only 4 times a year.

 

The lead actress? At first I thought it was Vanessa Marcil, from Las Vegas, but upon further thinking and a quick rewind on the DVR I realized it was Ashleigh from Joe Schmo 1.

 

The commercial is very cheesy, a lot of women dancing around in white dresses and making happy expressions that they only have to get their period 4 times a year. She is the main of all of them though, the camera keeps focusing on her.

 

Guess it didn't launch her career like she would have hoped, huh?

The black girl from Joe Schmo 2 was already a working actress prior to getting her part on the show.

 

She has a supporting role in Jim Wynorski's above average direct-to-video film Gale Force, was on Young & Restless, and even got turned into a mannequin in the original Wishmaster.

 

Lucky the guy they picked for the show wasn't a film mark.

What ever happened to JS2? I remember it was getting towards the end after Ingred was made into an actress, but then all of a sudden the show was gone.

The show went on for another 7 or 8 weeks for the finale. They brought in a new Jane Schmo, and all worked out fine.
