He's back... Oh yes, I am excited. I don't care what anyone says about Yap, for getting Blitz to come back, I am eternally grateful.

If Evans is to assume the Blitzkrieg gimmick (and the original won't wrestle again), Jack's first match under the gimmick should be against Scorpio Sky, actually I just want to see Evans vs Sky period, but with the new identity for Jack it'd be even cooler.

Here's the write up I found at DVDR:

Blitzkrieg.

He began his professional wrestling career in 1994 and by 1998, was a WCW Cruiserweight regular, often stealing the show in matches with everyone from Chavo Guerrero Jr, Rey Mysterio Jr, Kaz Hayashi, Billy Kidman, and even SoCal's own Super Dragon. His match with Juventud Guerrera at the WCW Spring Stampede pay-per-view is considered by wrestling pundits as one of the best matches of 1999 and as his professional wrestling star was at its' peak, the man called Blitzkrieg did what many thought he would never do. He walked away.

In doing so, he wound up cementing himself in pro wrestling history as a Cult Icon; a wrestler still talked about by BOTH fans and workers in reverential tones; a man who has, despite several requests to return to the sport that seemed to fit him like a glove, never wandered back.

Until now.

For on December 12th, 2004, the man known as Blitzkrieg will, for the FINAL time in his life, step into a professional wrestling ring. This time, though, it's not to do combat. It is, instead, to make professional wrestling history, as he will publicly turn over his wrestling gear, masks, and very IDENTITY to a man he has personally chosen to carry on his legacy.

And that man is JACK EVANS.

To say that Blitzkrieg is a hero to Evans is an understatement, as Evans considers Blitzkrieg to be the very reason that he became a wrestler in the first place. Now, with the opportunity to step - literally - into the shoes of his idol, one has to wonder what's going on inside the young Evans, who now faces his dream come true. Be there - LIVE - on 12.12.04 and witness a once-in-a-lifetime moment that, years from now, will be looked back upon as a young man's professional turning point. On November 12th, at WAR's debut show, Jack Evans stunned the wrestling world by upsetting the SoCal Icon, Super Dragon. His victory over Dragon, as well as his match with 'the Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels at the following night's Pro Wrestling Guerrilla show, propelled Evans to SoCal's MOST WANTED status. Now, on 12.12.04, he makes his triumphant return to SoCal to take everything one notch higher.

Please join us for this once-in-a-lifetime event, as we say thank you and farewell to a professional wrestling legend and welcome forth the man who looks to not only carry on the name of Blitzkrieg, but take it to levels unheard of. It is a ceremony that will not disappoint.

PLUS - Don't forget the one-night 20-man Gauntlet match to determine the first ever Pro Wrestling WAR Champion! Entrants thus far include Scott Lost, Charles Mercury, Tony Kozina, Austin Aries, Supa Badd, Davey Richards, Jack Evans, the Human Tornado, Super Dragon, Kevin Steen, Disco Machine, El Generico, Bo Cooper, Scorpio Sky, Joey Epic, and Robby Lance, with more participants to be announced soon.

Finally, due to the New Japan Pro Wrestling event (www.njpw.com) being held at 2:00pm in Cudahy, CA, the WAR show will move its' start time from 5:00pm to 6:00pm to accomodate wrestling fans who want to attend BOTH shows. Bring your NJPW ticket stub and receive $3.00 off a General Admission ticket to the 12.12.04 WAR show.

Tickets are now on sale at www.prowrestlingwar.com. Prices are $15.00 for General Admission or $25.00 for the special V.I.P. Admission (available online only), which entitles the ticket holder to a 30-minute advance entrance and a Special Limited-Edition "Blitzkrieg/Jack Evans" t-shirt that will ONLY be available the night of the event.

The 12.12.04 Pro Wrestling WAR event takes place at the Santa Ana Elks Lodge on Sunday, December 12th, 2004 at 6:00pm. The Santa Ana Elks Lodge is located st 212 South Elk Lane; Santa Ana, CA; 92701. For more information, please visit www.prowrestlingwar.com.
