MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Bad penalty #3. Any score here by NE and this games probably over...
2GOLD Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 AJ Feeley fumbles and San Fran pick the ball up for a TD. Yes! So, who gets Drew Brees? The Dolphins or The Cardinals?
The Czech Republic Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 What made sports-media folk think Seattle was a SB contender again? Is it just me or is there something weird about Seattle being a contender in football? I just don't think of football when I think of Seattle
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 This 2nd half has been such a letdown off the first half..
2GOLD Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 What made sports-media folk think Seattle was a SB contender again? Is it just me or is there something weird about Seattle being a contender in football? I just don't think of football when I think of Seattle I hate to say it, but I don't even think sports when I think Seattle. I hear the Sonics are good but the NBA isn't important.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Well thats the game. I seriously doubt the Ravens can score 2 TDs in 1 qtr...
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 I don't think of Baltimore and think of football either.
therealworldschampion Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Dillon gets a TD run and the 2 point conversion, I'm happy because thats fantasy points for me.
fazzle Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Pittsburgh's the only question mark - but those are all easy wins otherwise. Hell, by that point, the Steelers could have the bye clinched, and not care about the game.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 I don't think of Baltimore and think of football either. Oh come on now.. All those great Colts teams in the 60's/70's
2GOLD Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 I don't think of Baltimore and think of football either. Yeah, if you avoid that historic Baltimore Colts franchise.
therealworldschampion Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Atlanta is down 21-17 to the Saints with 7 1/2 minutes left. An Atlanta loss gives the Eagles a 2 game lead on the Falcons in the conference.
2GOLD Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Dillon gets a TD run and the 2 point conversion, I'm happy because thats fantasy points for me. I'm happy cause now Shannon Sharpe sounds like a bigger moron.
GreatWhiteNope Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 McGahee receives a 4th down pitch and runs 30 yards for his 3rd TD 31-3 Bills
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Well thats OFFICIALLY the game.
therealworldschampion Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 New England just recovered a Baltimore fumble in the endzone for a TD, its really over now. Kinda sucks, they'll pull Dillon now and I probably needed about 20 more yards rushing for my fantasy matchup.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 I don't think of Baltimore and think of football either. Yeah, if you avoid that historic Baltimore Colts franchise. not me. I think of the Oriole's first.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Tayor should have kicked it out of the endzone for a safety instead of trying to recover it at the 2.
2GOLD Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 New England took over this game in the second half. It went from defensive war to Patriot adjustments. I'm still impressed as hell by the Ravens D, but they got dominated on the line here in the second half. Never thought I'd see that.
therealworldschampion Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Another clincher for the Eagles for next week, they could possibly clinch a first-round bye with a Packers win over St. Louis tomorrow night, then a win over Green Bay next week combined with Seattle and Minnesota losses.
GreatWhiteNope Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Seattle fumbles on their own 15 - Bills recover.
2GOLD Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Another clincher for the Eagles for next week, they could possibly clinch a first-round bye with a Packers win over St. Louis tomorrow night, then a win over Green Bay next week combined with Seattle and Minnesota losses. Seattle? Why Seattle?
therealworldschampion Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Atlanta fumbled at the New Orleans 5 and the Saints recovered.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 The Pats are gonna run the football to death now, so I guess the Ravens only hope would be a fumble or something which is possible given the condition of the field and ball.
therealworldschampion Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Seattle? Why Seattle? Well it looks like Seattle will lose, so they'll be 6-5. A loss to Dallas(highly unlikely)next week makes them 6-6, so if the Eagles win and go to 11-1, Seattle then wouldn't be able to catch them in the conference race if they won the NFC West. Also a win over Green Bay and a Minnesota loss gives them both 5 losses and the Eagles would have 11 wins, and the Eagles would hold head-to-head tiebreakers over both of them.
2GOLD Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 The Patriots really should make sure to hold onto Troy Brown till he wants to retire. The guy can play any position at any time and gets better and better. I'd bet if you let Brown play quarterback, he'd have a three td game in just three weeks. Not to mention I think they could easily convert him to a corner if they wanted to go after another receiver. I need his jersey, right now.
GreatWhiteNope Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 McGahee rushes for his fourth TD 38-3 Bills

But the Rams will be leading the West if they win Monday night, not the Seahawks. Wait...I got it now. This is assuming the Packers win over the Rams thus knocking them out.
therealworldschampion Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 And the Aints can't even get a first down, so they punt back to the Falcons. 1st and 10 for Atlanta at the NO 47 with 1:56 left.
therealworldschampion Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 But the Rams will be leading the West if they win Monday night, not the Seahawks. That's why the Packers would have to win tomorrow night for the Eagles to have a chance to clinch a first round bye next week since the Rams would have 6 losses if GB wins tomorrow.
