cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2004 My friend Chris is a big Rams fan but he has slightly turned on them due to Martz and the way Warner was run out of town. In regards to the OK St. tourney games, there was something about those that I can't really consider classic. Possibly because I think you have to do more than score in the 60s, I dunno. Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2004 Los Angeles-San Antonio Spurs, Game 5. 0.4 seconds, "The Fish Swish". I miss Derek Fisher. Most of that game was awful, but the 4th quarter was great. It's way more than Fisher's shot, too; that would have been impressive, but the fact that Tim Duncan made his ridiculous shot (at, what, 1.6 seconds) made it amazing. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 29, 2004 I actually felt the whole game was great. You have to also consider the whole story of the series, of the Lakers with their backs up against the wall who were able to manage a victory in the previous 2 games where they had gotten dominated in the first two by San Antonio, but since SA had homecourt, they HAD to win one in SA, and this was their big chance to win it there otherwise the Spurs would have had Game 7 at the SBC Center. They'd come out firing on all cylinders the whole game, and San Antonio made an impressive run coming out at halftime as well and you saw in the 4th quarter two teams that literally could not stop the other until the last millisecond. The 0.4 shot put the Lakers at 3-2 in the series, and they won the next game without a problem, as San Antonio still looked totally dazed from the last game.
