Guest Regina Phelange Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 This thread could probably go under TV/Lost, but I took a chance here..... I'm looking for episodes of Lost to download but everything I get is unable to play. I get a message about not having the right codec, etc. (they're mostly avi files). I've got all the Windows media player updates, I've tried a few different P2P... can anyone help?
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Have you downloaded DivX?
Guest Regina Phelange Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Got DivX, tried Bittorrent... no luck so far, but I'll keep searching....impatience makes this more of a problem than anything! Thank-you kind sirs.
Guest Shutterspeed Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Have you seen that photo of Bram Cohen, BitTorrent's creator, when you're prompted to make a donation when downloading it? That whole page alone is enough of a deterrent, to be honest, and not just because of the shirt that he's wearing. I've found it, actually. Fucking idiot: http://bittorrent.com/donate.html
Guest Regina Phelange Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 I'd hit that. TOTALLY joking. Looks pretty greasy...
Insane Bump Machine Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Download and install this: http://www.free-codecs.com/FFDShow_download.htm (first link) and this: http://www.free-codecs.com/AC3_Filter_download.htm if it still doesn't work, ask again.
Guest Shutterspeed Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 I'm sorry if I sounded like a cruel cunt, but I just find the trying pseudo-hip image clashing with the mathematics contest t-shirt to make for one of the all-time funniest publicity shots.
Guest Regina Phelange Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 I am left with only one question...Insane Bump Machine, will you marry me?! Working great. The end.
Guest Shutterspeed Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 I give you man meat. And I get squat. Squat.
Guest Regina Phelange Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 My sincerest apologies, Shutterspeed. Thank-you dearly for that tasty treat.
