Guest LooneyTune Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 Is Melina as talented as Gail Kim was when every website and their mothers were pimping her? I no longer trust any sites opinions on lady wrestlers until I see it.
Guest DeathBecomesYou Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 If you believe the rumours on sites like GloryWrestling, Melina is solid in the ring, at Trish level basically. I thought Gail was very talented and still is, what made her look bad was not only was she given a buildup with hype that she couldn't live up to, she was also brought up a little early, once she she got a bit more ring time, she didn't blow many, if any spots at all, it's just those first few months that made her look shit.
SuperJerk Posted December 2, 2004 Author Report Posted December 2, 2004 If Melina can work, her fugliness is a non-issue.
The Czech Republic Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 She probably has to blow Vince McMahon every night...hell, if that gets me $250,000 and TV exposure, I'd do it too. Boy, the evidence is really piling up, isn't it. I think Melina's introduction was pretty shoddy. Really random. Then again, they hyped Gail Kim with all that Matrix nonsense and that got her...yeah.
Guest Big_Jay101 Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 I think they are trying to seperate the women wrestlers and make the women who do not wrestle the "divas". That is what it seems to me, I am prolly wrong though.

I don't think we'll see her TV wrestling debut just yet. Come on, they wouldn't just debut a new female wrestler without letting her get plenty of experience against the other women in dark matches, would they? That'd make as much sense as starting out one of them on one show working bra and panties dark matches, and then switching them over to the other show and throw them into a real match against actual female workers she'd not really been in any matches with before... Oh yeah.
