How is it misleading? I looked at the buys related to the event, which is perfectly reasonable given the status of these two events, and there was a distinct drop on both occasions that the EC was used, and they were in two different years.

I think the love for the Elimination Chambe comes from the realization that it just hasn't been used to its full potential yet. The only person who ever did anything remotely innovative with it was RVD.

I don't even have any interest in the Echamber, I just think it would be better fitted for the RR than the NYR show. The NYR show needs those 5/6 guys spread out because its a singular brand show, the Rumble you can afford to put all those guys in one match.

I think WWE should get rid of the whole concept of Royal Rumble...just like they did with King of the Ring...

Don't use the Chamber period. Use it at Backlash or maybe hold off until Summerslam, when they can get away with it since the Smackdown side could fill out the upper-card slots.

 

I actually think it would be a cool idea to make the EC Match a tag team type match.

 

1 man from each team starts. Every 5 minutes a new chamber opens. It could be this generations War Games...except in 1 ring.

If they're serious about Edge in the ME, a big match at WrestleMania is what he needs. A win against HBK would keep him in the title picture post-Mania. They could play it up like Jericho/HBK at WMXIX, except HBK would put Edge over.

 

Jericho/Benoit vs. E&C would be a good RAW match though. I have no doubt that Benoit will be involved in some sort of multiple person match at Mania though.

I thought the original intent of the EC was to be the penultimate "Survivor Series" match. The way it's been floating around (remember the intention was to NEVER use it at SSlam 03 until Triple H couldn't wrestle for 20 minutes due to injury), it's bound to become as silly as the Hell in the Cell has become, but without any memorable moments/matches.
