Guest Catcher8C Report post Posted December 4, 2004 Ok, I wanted to post this as a way to see wether or not people here could see it working. We are called JCWF (Jeff City Wrestling Federation) and we have an hour long show once a week on JC-TV (community access) starting on January 6..The show is called Carnage, and this is the info we sent them along with the script for the first week and plans for our first PPV.. Basically, we are trying to run a fed without any crazy backyard wrestling spots or bumps...I'm the head booker, and my characters are Bad Brad Jacobs, Koo Koo, and Rob The Reaper....We were unofficial for a long time and tapes circulated in our HS, but then we went on a hiatus when I broke this kid's finger, but now we're back. The storyline reason for the absence is that we got shut down by the FCC...anyway, tell me how this sounds. And no, we aren't backyard wrestlers. One of us (Hunter) has a finished basement with a high ceiling and that's our "JCWF Arena." Ecquip: Ring Our ring is roughly 12X12. On the ground are several bed mattresses (go to salvation army or dingy hotel for these). On top of the mattresses is 1/4 inch plywood, and on top of the plywood are several queen size comforters, covered by a tarp. Our ring posts are made with regular steel posts with wood platforms on the top (for top rope moves) and on the bottom (to make it easier to move). Ropes are made from 1 inch thick bungee cords wrapped in black electrical tape. Turnbuckles are made from black painted boxing gloves. JCWF- A New Beginning TV ---- Carnage- Thursday Night on JCTV (Hour) Characters Rio Rodriguez (Heel) Height: 5'6" Weight: 160 Entrance Music: "The Kind" Delinquent Habits Finisher: Rio Grande (Flatliner) Bio: Sort of an alternative to your average foreign heel gimmick, he is a white kid who *forgive me for this one* is the biggest wick (want to be spick) there is. He wears his Ecko and Southpole to the ring all the time. He is aligned with Bad Brad. Catchphrase: "Su Madre" (your mother) Bad Brad Jacobs (Heel) Height: 5’7” Weight: 147 Entrance Music: “Prodigal Son” Kid Rock Finisher: Thunder From Down Under, Bad Break, Bad Attitude, 747 Bio: I am basically a bad-ass heel, something completely unlike me in real life. My gimmick is that I don't take shit from anyone. The only person I am aligned with is Rio, and to a point Commissioner Edwards. (see below) Catchphrase: "Have a Bad Day" “Randy Hunter”(Face) Height: 6’0” Weight: 180 Entrance Music: “Let’s Go” Trick Daddy Finisher: Frontfall (F-5 Variation) Bio: He is a goofy face who pretty much goes by the book. He is pretty limited still since I broke his finger months ago. His story right now is that he is trying to take over as commissioner of JCWF. Catchphrase: "A vote for Randy is a vote for me" (gay, I know...it's his character) Rob The Reaper(Heel) Height: 5”7’ Weight: 200 Entrance Music: "Deadwood Mountain" Big&Rich Finisher: Chokeslam, The Reap, Final Breath Bio: He is an upper mid card wrestler who takes after people like UT, Kane, Abyss, Mankind, etc. The twist is that he throws in a little Heidenreich or Snitsky as well...Ex. The Reap is when he hooks both of your arms behind you and drives his knee repeatedly into your ass region until the opponent taps. Ironically, this is one of the most legit painful moves we perform. Koo Koo (Heel) Height: 5”7’ Weight: 147 Entrance Music: Finisher: Bio: Basically Doink The Clown as a heel. He is a scary clown. The only jobber we have probably. Previously, his gimmick was that of a racist heel clown, but JC-TV said we couldn't have a character who flaunted the fact that his initials were K.K.K. (KooKoo the Krazy Klown). Commissioner Edwards (Heel)- JCWF Commissioner Height: 5”8’ Weight: 205 Entrance Music: Hail To The Cheif Finisher: The Executive Decision (fallaway slam) Bio: In storyline terms, he is the father I never thought existed. Previously, he revealed himself to be Bad Brad's estranged father and we had a huge fued which led to a big blowoff at the first Sub-Zero. He is not a great worker. (He's 50) Cameron Moffat (Face) Height: 6’1” Weight: 225 Entrance Music: Finisher: Bio: He is the classic underachiever. He has a great build and a great talent, but he can't put it all together. He starts out as the laughing stock of JCWF, but after months of ridicule he will eventually snap and take out the whole roster. Future main eventer, and the only really good athlete we have (besides me). Adam Frazier (Face) Height: 5'11" Weight: 155 Entrance Music: Finisher: Bio: He is a cocky face who fights for his fans. He comes in through the crowd like DDP, which is kind of funny as a sight gag since we have two rows of chairs on one side of the ring for him to come through. Sean Crider Height: 5'11" Weight: 170 Entrance Music: Finisher: Clothesline Bio: Basically, he is only around if we need to fill a spot for a show. He is not a good worker, and his only previous experience was doing the job to me at a Revenge taping (our previous name). Even when guiding him through the match, I could still only get him to bodyslam and clothesline me. He proceded to use his minute of offense in the squash to clothesline me about 10 times, therefore earning the name "Master of The Clothesline." PPV Sub-Zero- Saturday, January 22 ThrowDown- Saturday, February 26 Story Week 1: January 6 10 Minute Segment- Bad Brad Jacobs, Rio, and Randy Hunter, Adam Frasier all come out to the ring. The FCC shut us down but we’re back. These 4 men are the newest and baddest stable in JCWF- (Unnamed). Each one says a short promo and then Brad talks about JCWF bein bigger and better. 1 Minute Segment- Entrances for Koo Koo then Adam Frazier 5 Minute Match- (Koo Koo) vs. Adam Frasier- Koo Koo wins by DQ when Randy Hunter interferes and they double team Koo Koo right in front of the ref and when he starts his 5-count, they go after him. 5 Minute Segment- In his office Commissioner Edwards announces a tournament to crown a new JCWF champion with the quarterfinals next week, the semi finals in 2 weeks and the champion crowned at Sub-Zero in the first ever Sub-Zero match--a falls count anywhere buried alive match where the winner has to bury the loser in a mountain of snow! 2 Minute Segment- Backstage, Frasier is getting ready to leave when Bad Brad and Rio confront him. They ask him whats going on. He says hes leaving. Bad Brad says you might want to stick around, because he might need backup during the main event. Rio cuts in: Hey holmes, We expect better from you. (UnNamed Stable) is about winners, and if you can’t beat a clown, you might as well go home. 2 Minute Segment- Bad Brad comes out first and cuts a promo about how great he and Rio are, without mentioning Hunter or Frazier. He says those 2 need to step it up or they are out of (Stable) for good..Onto other matters--Cameron’s music interrupts and he cuts a short promo about himself, drops the mic, and goes after Brad to start the match 15 Minute Match- (Bad Brad Jacobs) vs. Cameron Moffat *Min. 0-5- Evenly Matched *Min 5-11- Bad Brad dominates with 1-2 small failed comeback attempts *12-13 Minute Mark- Double Clothesline and both men are out. Brad up at 7, Cam up at 9. Brad hits side slam, but Cam kicks out at 2.9. Brad is shocked and questions ref while Cam pops right up and starts comeback. *Min 14- Ref gets bumped when Brad ducks clothesline *Min 15- Rio slides Brad chair and he nails Cam to get 3 3 Minute Segment- Brad is walking backstage and confronts Hunter in the back and demands to know where he was out there. He almost lost that match, and (Stable) is about winners and winners only. Are you a winner, Randy? Huh? Can you be trusted to have me and Rio’s backs? You’ve got a choice to make, and you need to make it by the end of the night. The main event is Rio vs. The Reaper, so you need to show whose side you are on. Punks like Moffat or true winners like us. Randy walks away, but Brad spins him around. He gets up in Hunters grill face to face and asks him if he understands how important this is. Hunter tells him to back up. Do you understand what it means to be a member of (Stable)? Back up. No, you listen to me. I said back up. Hunter grabs him by his neck and lifts him up. Who do you think you are telling me what to do? huh? huh? Frazier comes up and breaks them up. Brad leaves saying you better make the right choice. Frazier and Hunter give knowing looks to each other. 1 Minute Segment- Rio’s entrance and short promo 1 Minute Segment- Rob’s entrance 11 Minute Match Rio Rodriguez vs. (Rob The Reaper) *Min 1-7- Rio tries every trick in the book, but he can’t gain the upperhand. Rob hits the Reap and The Chokeslam. *Min 8- He goes for the pin, but Frazier runs out only to get reaped. But that buys Rio time and the pin attempt only gets 2. *Min 9-10- Rio makes a big comeback and nearly wins, but his finisher is reversed into a huge Chokeslam. *Min 11- Hunter runs out only to be chokeslammed as well. This time Rio can’t kick out. 4 Minute Segment- Rob leaves the ring. 3 members of (Stable) are all laid out in the ring and Rio is pissed. Bad Brad runs out but it is too late. He helps Rio up just as Frazier and Hunter are reaching their feet. They turn face to face. Rio picks up the mic and catches his breath. What was that? Brad, I can understand you not coming to my aid. You won a hard fought match. But you two? You two are failures. But..But, we are willing to give you two another chance...but we need an answer now..yes or no. Frazier grabs the mic. My name is Adam Frazier and this is Randy Hunter, and we’ve had enough. Screw you, and screw (Stable). He tosses the mic aside and starts a brawl with Bad Brad, and Hunter goes after Rio. Hunter and Frasier win the brawl and celebrate in the ring as Brad and Rio go back fume on the outside. Total- 60 Minutes Week 2 January 13 5 Minute Segment- In his office, Commissioner Edwards announces the brackets for the first round of the title tournament. The actions of last week are untolerable, and something must be done. In round 1, Commissioner Edwards has entered his name. Tonight, I’ll beat Rob The Reaper and show you all what being a real man and a real wrestler is all about. 7 Minute Match- (Bad Brad Jacobs) vs. Adam Frazier Bad Brad wins with the Thunder From Down Under on a chair. After the match, Bad Brad beats down Frazier and thren hits him over and over again in the ankle with a steel chair. Randy Hunter makes the save, but it is already too late and the damage has been done. 1 Minute Segment- Commissioner Edwards is walking backstage. 2 Minute Segment- Backstage, Koo Koo sneaks up behind Randy and takes him by surprise. He tells him that after he’s through with him he’ll need to join the circus because his face will be so messed up. 5 Minute Segment- Backstage, Rio jumps Rob The Reaper and powerbombs him through a (box) wooden crate. He stands over him and tells him this isn’t over. 5 Minute Match- (Randy Hunter) vs. Koo Koo Randy Hunter wins easily with his finisher. Squash match. Afterwards, he announces that he is starting a campaign. A campaign to unthrow Commissioner Edwards from his position of power and take over as commissioner of JCWF. He is tired of being treated like he doesn’t matter, and he doesn’t understand why someone of his talent is reduced to a joke in matches against clowns, and it’s time for a change. 5 Minute Segment- Randy refuses to leave the ring until he is treated with some respect. He demands to see Commissioner Edwards so he can kick his ass right now. I don’t care if you have a match tonight, because as far as I’m concerned you won’t make it there. Cameron Moffat’s music interrupts, and he walks out to the ring. He says look, I know I’m not the best at what I do, but at least I don’t threaten to give up and walk away every time I don’t get what I want. He and Randy have a staredown. 8 Minute Match- Cameron Moffat vs. (Rio Rodriguez) Bad Brad is ejected from the ringside area after cheating. Rio wins anyway with the Rio Grande. THIS SHOW IN INCOMPLETE.... Titles JCWF World Title Brackets for Tournament QuarterFinals Bad Brad Jacobs Semis vs Bad Brad Jacobs Adam Frazier vs Bad Brad Jacobs Randy Hunter vs Randy Hunter Koo Koo CHAMP vs vs Rio Rodriguez Cameron Moffat vs Rio Rodriguez Rio Rodriguez vs Rio Rodriguez Rob The Reaper vs Cameron Moffat* Commissioner Edwards * Rob The Reaper vs. Commissioner Edwards: Rob goes over with lots of cheating while the ref is out; Commissioner Edwards reviews the tape and disqualifies Rob from the tournament, giving Cameron a bye into the semifinals. *Also, the reason Rob couldn't advance was because of the fact that I also play the reaper underneath a mask, and it would not work with the format of the tournament. END basically, that's it...we are just getting started, and as booker and writer I'm doing my best to give everyone close to equal screen time among the main eventers (Brad, Rio, later Cam) So what do you think..Dont be too harsh, plz. Bad Brad
theintensifier 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2004 Since you don't want me to be harsh, I'll be overly nice. You could beat the WWE out. The very best booking I have EVER seen. [/sarcasm] Sorry, had to say it. Seriously, it's not too bad. The name of the promotion is kinda eh, and your workers are tiny, other than that, not too shaby. Guest Catcher8C Report post Posted December 4, 2004 Thanks...I know it's not too much, but I think so far we work around our limitations pretty well. Our only motive for starting up again was because of another fed that is on public access; we want to start a rivalry or whatever.
