And JBL won to no one's surprise. Although I'm glad the rest of the faces went over in the title matches especially Funaki. I never thought I would see it happen.

Armageddon was just an extended Smackdown, with nothing at all to make it seem special whatsoever. The only thing that I enjoyed was Funaki's upset win, which I happily marked out for. And while that was great fun, it wasn't enough to make Armageddon special, and within a few weeks, the whole event will have slipped from memory.

It wasn't as bad as they make it out to be. Yes, they were clearly flirting for most of the summer, and there was a lot of read between the lines innuendo, but watching it casually they probably came off as guys trying too hard to be "buddies"
