Guest saturnmark4life Posted May 8, 2002 Report Posted May 8, 2002 I find it hard to believe i was ever talking about Scott Hall in the same sentence as 'wwf/e' in the year 2002. what was the point of hiring these idiots??
Guest Singular Posted May 8, 2002 Report Posted May 8, 2002 Has Kevin Nash made any comments on this situation yet in interviews or what not? Wonder what his reaction will be.
Guest Posted May 8, 2002 Report Posted May 8, 2002 I recall seeing or hearing that the beers Austin uses are non-Alcoholic beers. It would make sense, because, hey, you can't get tanked while you're on the job. I don't think Austin (with his injuries) would want to wrestle drunk and risk stumbling around and hurting himself. So if that's the case the whole point of Hall getting covered with beers is moot. Besides, don't you think that if Hall said "Hey, yo, I'm trying to kick the habit. Ya think Steve could pour O'Doulls on me instead of real beer?" that Vince would have said "Well.. ok... since we do have a ton of money riding on you guys."
Guest buffybeast Posted May 8, 2002 Report Posted May 8, 2002 Hall made a comment on a WWF.com interview that he was financially set for life. It is no one's fault that Hall fell off the wagon. Hall can blame Hall. That is utter bullshit to say that his friends should have stopped him. They could have said to him, Scott take it easy. And he could have said back to them, fuck off. He's a grown man. It's no one's responsibility, including management, to keep him sober.

My only point is that when someone is deteriorating, usually there's some report that they get pulled aside by somebody else in the locker room who gently (or not so gently) points out they're falling out. The only recent case I can remember is HHH chatting with DDP last year, but it's happened with others.
Guest Posted May 8, 2002 Report Posted May 8, 2002 It's best that he got fired. So now he can focus on cleaning up himself. The WWF should never rehire him or any other fed ever again. The Man needs to stay away from wrestling. Cause it seems everytime he comes back he falls back off that wagon.
Guest Posted May 10, 2002 Report Posted May 10, 2002 How many times has he got drunk in the WWF now?
