Stupidity of cops today

Maybe someone can come out with a children's strength taser. Ideally, they could have a taser with an adjustable setting, just like the phasers (from toddler to Big Show on crack) on Star Trek.

Even in today's society, it's a little scary that a 6yo isn't intimidated by cops holding weapons. I don't know if the cops acted inappropriatly in this instance or not. I don't know why the teachers couldn't do something, what happened before the cops called for permission to use the taser, or during the whole ordeal but it all sounds kinda screwy.

 

I wouldn't be afraid of a little kid with a piece of glass, but I couldnt guarantee the kid wouldnt have a worse cut on his hand before I got the glass out of it. If he was threatening to hurt himself and/or made a move to injure himself or another, what they did might have been appropriate.

If the kid was a danger to himself or others you have to disarm him using the necessary amount of force. However I think 2 tasers goes beyond necessary.

That kid is probably going to be disturbed for the rest of his life because of this.
