Guest Jimbo Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 It's a travesty that Fred Smoot wasn't named.
nogoodnick Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Vick may not have the passing stats but he has rushed for 889 yards which is pretty amazing. Also he single handedly wins games, is very marketable for the NFL, and has his team playing great with a bye week locked up for the playoffs.
the pinjockey Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Smoot should have made it, Pierce was a victim of the name game, and Taylor should already be on the team over Roy Williams (Williams does have 3 season ending injuries due to the drag down tackle on the year, I assume that leads the league.)

You mean how he "won" the game against Carolina last weekend? More like atone for his mistakes. It was his almost totally his fault they were behind at that point in the game anyway, but nobody talks about that. They only acknowledge the Superman TD dive which, while amazing, shouldn't have even been needed.
Lightning Flik Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Its how Michael Vick plays though, and for the most cases, it seems to win them games... Strangely enough. Although, it really should just end up with him being sacked a shitload of times.
Damaramu Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Well I personally think while Michael Vick is a great runner I'd rather have Donovan McNabb or Dante Culpepper at the helm if I had to have a mobile QB just b/c they're better throwers and they're smarter runners.
Mole Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 This is the first time a Niner hasn't made the Pro Bowl in 399 years.

Vern Gagne Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Bryant McKinnie is no where near Pro-Bowl level. 3 Chiefs O-Line making it, tells me a few things. 1. The offense is outstanding. 2. the Chiefs should be 3 games better than they are.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Brian Moorman was screwed for the third year in a row. ... Look I know he's a punter....but watching him drop bombs into the ridiculous wind this year was the most amazing thing I've seen on the field.

Well I mean I could probably go in at QB against The Chiefs and complete 60% of my passes......that defense is dismal.
