Guest Vitamin X Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 I *KNEW* that was going to happen. I was thinking, please don't let Brett throw, don't make Brett throw... and they did, an INT return for a TD. FuX0r
Guest Failed Mascot Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 YES! I told Slayer on the phone that losing those 2 challenges in the first half would bite the Pack in the ass.
packwingfn Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 And our defense is playing better this half then the first half. Now its our offense !
Art Sandusky Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Man, the last thing we need (as much as it pains me to say this) is to have to live or die based on Favre's performance. Just get back out there and play like it didn't happen.
NoCalMike Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Alright INT returned for TD.......Vikings up 31-24 with about seven and a half minutes to go. Come on Vikes.
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 What's your interest in Minnesota winning, NoCalMike?
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 What's your interest in Minnesota winning, NoCalMike? Maybe like alot of people in America he can't stand the packers and the blowjob affairs Favre gets.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Don't get me wrong; I like the Packers.
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 I ask because he mentioned something about it affecting his `Skins.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Maybe he doesn't want his 'kins getting murdered next week and is hoping the Vikes win so they aren't competetive next week.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 That was risky; most would have gone with a FG. Sherman has zero confidence in his D and rightfully so.
packwingfn Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 oh my god I think my heart stopped for 10 seconds on that 4th down play for the touchdown.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Why are guys so nervous? You are in the playoffs. It's a bragging rights game for packers.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Yes; I know the divison is on the line but really, getting a home game for the wild card round doesn't mean much as Lambeau isn't intimidating anymore.
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Why are guys so nervous? You are in the playoffs. It's a bragging rights game for packers. You just answered your own question. This game also gives us the #3 seed in the playoffs who'll go up against the #6 seed, and of course one home game.
packwingfn Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 And if we dont win this game, any momentum going into the playoffs is shot. (even if we beat chicago) ALA 2002 Season against Atlanta.

You just answered your own question. This game also gives us the #3 seed in the playoffs who'll go up against the #6 seed, and of course one home game. Like I said; The Packers aren't anything special at Lambeau these days so is the HFA really important? as long as you avoid getting a dome in the first round. You're getting Atlanta in the Second round regardless.
NoCalMike Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 My interest is because if the Skins win out they can make the playoffs at 7-9. In order for that to happen, Rams have to lose this monday OR Seattle has to lose both of their last games. The Skins have tiebreakers over most of the teams that can finish 7-9. So if the Vikes win today they clinch the division, and next week's game for them is meaningless since they CAN'T possibly move up on Atlanta or Philly in terms of playoff position. If the Vikes lose today then they go into next week fighting for their lives for a playoff spot. I am still not worried either way, Moss is hurt or just doesn't care it seems, and the Skins have to win this week against Dallas FIRST before I can even get THAT excited. So a couple of things that aren't that improbable have to happen this week, and if they do, I am gonna have anxiety all week leading up to next week's game.
NoCalMike Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Maybe he doesn't want his 'kins getting murdered next week and is hoping the Vikes win so they aren't competetive next week. 'Skins wouldn't get murdered regardless.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 That was a good game. Getting a game that good tonight was like an early Christmas present.
Slayer Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Time to endure smug Packers fans for yet another year I can't f'king wait for the year Favre retires
packwingfn Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Like Vitamin said before RYAN LONGWELL = MVP!
Guest Failed Mascot Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Kotz should get his name changed to "KotzenCheese-Head" until the Packers are done this season.
Slayer Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Minnesota can still backdoor into the playoffs by a Rams or Panthers loss. Hopefully the Rams lose out because I don't want to see Martz in the playoffs at all... not because I'm afraid he'll win, but because I hate looking at him
Art Sandusky Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Nah, give Vitamin X a fan-based name. He's way more knowledgeable about 'em.
