Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 31, 2004 The more I play through this the more I think people took the day off when the schedule called for bug testing. Right now this is a great game in terms of gameplay and story but some of the bugs are making it retarded. For instance. On Na Sharaa when you finally get the red headed chick. If you put her in your party and walk down towards the Ebon Hawk she's still standing in the corner as well. So two of her are on the screen at once. Fuck! Why do I always look at these spoiler things! Good thing you get Luxa in the party though, I accidentally killed her (no other conversation options which was weird) on the Citadel Station, I wonder if that makes a difference or not. I wouldn't mind having two of her around. Damn it now I have to go play to see for myself..

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 Damn I really want to play this game but I'm afraid b/c I'm also playing Halo 2. I'm afraid that if I start playing KOTRII I won't be able to stop and I will forget about Halo 2.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 31, 2004 I don't suggest touching Korriban unless you're at least level 17 Well, obviously. I wouldn't have done the same in the first one, either. There's too much bloody action in this game, I think that's what bothers me about it sometimes. Especially in the first couple hours of gameplay, compared to the first one, I mean you don't really start getting into shit in the first one until you hit the underground, and that was far off for me since I did all the sidequests on the first two levels of Taris initially. Damn I really want to play this game but I'm afraid b/c I'm also playing Halo 2. I'm afraid that if I start playing KOTRII I won't be able to stop and I will forget about Halo 2. More than likely, this is what's going to happen. My skill in playing FPS's has seriously declined once I started playing the first one, then followed up by game after game of the ESPN series, and Fable, and now the second KOTOR. Has anyone tried that Republic Commando demo on the KOTOR II disc yet? I didn't like it personally, again probably because I suck at FPS's now and I can't get used to the controls (which make you dizzy as well).
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted December 31, 2004 I'm not really into FPSs with the exception of GoldenEye so I haven't even bothered. I wish that planet with the Cat Fish people was in this game. I liked that one in the first game.

I didn't like it personally, again probably because I suck at FPS's now and I can't get used to the controls (which make you dizzy as well). I didn't think that was too bad. The controls are gonna take some getting used to, for me, though. When is this game released?
Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted January 2, 2005 I read somewhere that Malak's in this game. I'm assuming it's just a flashback, but I'd like to know what his exact role is. I'm a loser like that.
Guest Reservoir_Kitty Report post Posted January 2, 2005 I'm about 20 hours into the game, and I love it. I can see myself playing it through multiple times like I did with the first one. I gotta say that I'm really intrigued by the story... I want to play more, but I figured I could use a break after like 3 straight hours of playing. Heh. This will eat up all of my time until I beat it at least thrice. Perhaps more. Sorry other Christmas presents, you'll have to wait.

Guest JohnnySwift Report post Posted January 3, 2005 I read somewhere that Malak's in this game. I'm assuming it's just a flashback, but I'd like to know what his exact role is. I'm a loser like that. You go into a Sith Training Academy and relieve all the evil decisions your character made, then the last one is deciding to rejoin Malak or refuse him this time. If you refuse then you have to fight him, Bastilla and like 4 unknown Jedi. The battle itself isn't too hard you just need to target him for the easy win. Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted January 3, 2005 So, does that mean you can choose to join with him? Or does he just attack you if that's your decision? I can't believe that I have to wait a month to get this for PC. I'll die before then.
Guest JohnnySwift Report post Posted January 3, 2005 So, does that mean you can choose to join with him? Or does he just attack you if that's your decision? I can't believe that I have to wait a month to get this for PC so hopefully they can patch things up. I'll die before then. I haven't gotten to Korriban as a dark sider yet, give me a few good hours with it and I'll let you know. You're probably better off having to wait a month to get it for the PC. I've noticed quite a few glitches and random lockups. It's kinda sad that the game even warns you about it. One of the loading scenes says, "Save often and in many slots" Still a good game though
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted January 3, 2005 It is one of the glitchiest games I've ever had. The amount of glitches it has takes away from the whole experience as well.
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 He meant Mira. You can't get Luxa in your party. I have all the characters now. My mistake. has anyone killed Master Vrook on dark side, and has anyone else had as hard of a time as I have trying to kill him?
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 has anyone killed Master Vrook on dark side, and has anyone else had as hard of a time as I have trying to kill him? Nevermind this, I completed that part.
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted January 4, 2005 Once I beat this on Dark Side I don't think I can justify keeping it. Too many glitches and bugs. Hopefully they fix all that when its rereleased as a Platinum Hit. I made it to the end as a Light Sider, just haven't beaten it yet...I need to be evil and kill shit. Being good for so long drained me.
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted January 4, 2005 and my Light Side game got deleted for reasons I can't fathom. It just aint there anymore. I can't recommend this game anymore. They should be ashamed for releasing such a glitch and bug filled game.
justsoyouknow 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 I never had one problem with it, aside from quests that appeared to be "broken". Maybe you just got a bad copy, Frigid.
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted January 5, 2005 I don't know, but to find my game file was just gone after throwing 35hrs worth of time into it really pissed me off. I called EB and because me and my father go there so much they said they would refund the entire amount and let me get something else. I'm going to write Lucas Arts a letter pleading with them that they fix the bugs and glitches before releasing it as a Platinum Hit. If they do then I will surely pick it up again. Until then I'm going to be filling my gamer life with alot of Splinter Cell.
justsoyouknow 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 Again, I haven't experienced any glitches like that, but if you have experienced them and you've been going down there so much that they're refunding you your money, then I feel sorry for you, bro. It's a hell of a game when it's all clicking together. Open question: Anyone find the HK droid factory yet?
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted January 5, 2005 Well I'm hoping and praying that they do release a better copy so I can experience it the way it should be. I'm not the only one though having troubles with it. I looked online and there are game freezing glitches and all sorts of stuff. You were lucky to not have encountered any.
justsoyouknow 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 It's got some terrible framerate issues, from what I've noticed. I'd be in a massive battle and it would just move slow as shit, to the point where it was essentially frozen, but it would always come back. Also... I'm slightly pissed that I never got back my original lightsaber
Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted January 5, 2005 I'm thrilled that I didn't get it, due to the numerous glitches. Nevermind that I though the story would suck... which it sort of seems to, from what I've read. Eh, I just hope the PC version doesn't put a virus on my system or something.
justsoyouknow 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 The story is actually pretty deep, much better than the first game.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted January 5, 2005 Yeah, I'm actually starting to get into it a little more. I agree about the framerate issue, and there are some glitches in it, but not as much as FS seems to have encountered. I thought at first I wasn't as immersed as deeply because I didn't care about my character's story as much, but now I find myself thinking about what's next in the game when I'm away from it, so that's a sign the addiction is back. I think the first had a better start to it though.. Dantooine and Taris is much better than Peragus/Telos.
justsoyouknow 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2005 I HATED Peragus. And yeah, the addiction is back. When I first got the game, I was driving to school one morning and I was like, "I've got to save Master Vrook from those bounty hunters!. This game owned my soul for a few days.
