Noble was released because he contracted a rash caused by steroids. He most likely will be back in 2005 though.

Here's the differance between WCW and WWE with the Cruiserweights.

WCW: -Gave Cruiserweights their matches on the big shows, Nitro and Thunder but at times also jobbed them out.

- Had more than one title to gain even if the tag titles were only around for 3 weeks it was due to WCW shutting down.

- Hired many Cruiserweights from all over the world

- Gave them more than one story line to work with

- La Parka

But the only problem was with the divison was the fact Cruiserweights were barely allowed to work with anyone outside of the divison and if they were, they were basically their to job, or get thrown like a lawn dart into a trailer.

WWE: -Lets Cruiserweights work with people outside the divison, Most of them are jobbers for people like Undertaker, or their not like Mysterio and sometimes Chavo and recently Kiddman, but that was only for a few weeks.

And thats really it, otherwise WWE doesn't hire any other Cruisers or if they do, they won't work the WWE style and will be fucked over (Ultimo and one point a try out match Juvi had, where Juvi was told he had to slow it down but didn't and WWE never called him again.) and most of the Cruiserweight matches are down on Velocity or PPV heat.

wCw always used the cruisers more effectively than WWE did and do today. It's just sad that nothing and virtually nothing besides the cruiser division was good in wCw, during it's later days. wCw revolutionized the cruiserweight division in North America. Look at the matches we've witnessed for the Cruiserweight Title; Liger/Pillman, Mysterio/Eddie, Benoit/Jericho, Eddie/Jericho, Eddie/Benoit, Mysterio/U Dragon etc. These matches are some of the greatest matches of all time. If the main event scene was so overly booked and had the matches not been as crappy as they were -- wCw would have managed to give WWE (F) a run for their money, even in the attitude era. WWE hasn't managed to put a single classic for the Cruiserweight Title, while wCw put plenty.

How dare you ignore Juventud vs. Blitzkrieg! Benoit was never in the WCW CW Division was he? Or how about Malenko vs. Anyone?

It's not sarcasm. Noble had some kind of rash from steroid use, and so Vince wouldn't have anyone on his ass for it (no pun intended), he just cut him loose. Big difference from "he might be using steroids" to "he definitely is and there's proof".

It's pretty easy to get the whole division over... just have someone pull an RVD with the CW Title and hold it for a long period of time and then have a match go to a draw with the World Champ.

That's probably what would happen if Heyman had full control over the product.

Is this true or sarcasm?

LooneyTune is correct. Knoble developed a rash where he injected the 'roids, and tried to file an insurance claim to have it covered. He said on the claim it was due to 'roids (which is pretty stupid, even if he is/was my favorite guy in the company), and since that would have caused a paper-trail back to the WWE, they had to let him go. Supposedly, he was told that he'd be brought back at some point in the future, which, frankly, can't come soon enough.

Thank god for that. I like the idea of Noble holding the strap for about 6 months, then calling JBL out! :headbang:
