yankovic fan 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2004 Smackdown: Almost a full house, very little tarped off area. Well, if they were in the UNO Lakefront Arena, it's not hard to fill up. It's the red headed stepchild of the New Orleans Superdome and Mini-Me (the arena). I remember as a child (1985) going there to see Chipmunks on Ice and THAT sold out. Lakefront Arena is basically an overrated Civic Center/Barn Yard. You'd think they'd use it more for a house show. Last 3 LA shows I went to, RR2001 (N.O. Arena) Smackdown Dec 2001 (N.O. Arena) and Raw --Invasion Era, Rock and Angle had the WWE/WCW titles talking about strudels (Baton Rouge Riverside arena)- All were packed houses (duh on Rumble). They could have filled the N.O. Arena up. *still waiting on a Superdome WM*
Guest JMA Report post Posted December 30, 2004 This doesn't seem like a very interesting show. So much for the "Night of Champions" hype.
reign 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2004 Man why the fuck do they keep jobbing out Haas....I nean it's bad enough they've got him with Holly but they make him lose? WTF!? Haas should be challenging Cena right now and putting on *** star matches with him at least. Haas can go with just about anybody on the roster and they've stuck him waaaay down the card. WWE is bullshit and SD! is f'n WCW 2000....that's why I read these spoilers again cause the show freakin sucks.......
CBright7831 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2004 Long comes out and reveals that the bowl was filled withpapaers with Moores name. Didn't Brock Lesnar do the same exact thing earlier this year? EDIT - And Chris has already pointed that out.

Right now, it's more like WWF 1995. 2 main eventers and a bunch of crap.

I think Reign might've meant they're creatively at the level of WCW in 2000.
reign 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2004 That is what I meant...no they may not be losing money(partly because they're the ony game in town) but creatively they are in the toilet with SD! and Raw just isn't consistently good and they keep blowing storylines.... Guest Dazed Report post Posted December 30, 2004 I think that's a good point. The company's not loosing money, and business is steady. Only because of the huge cuts in expenditure they've made. They are still bringing in less money than previously.

How long they can stay profitable...that's another story.
