Dark Age 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 Anyway, I thought I'd give this whole fantasy booking thing a shot. There are a couple of good ones in this folder, so I guess I've got standards to live up to. Anyway, I'm going to be booking both SD and Raw, and it'll be started from now. I've another idea to start from this past SummerSlam, but this'll do for now. I've got it booked up (at least for Raw) until SummerSlam or so, so this could last a while. I know people are probably bored with yet another one of thesse things, but I think I could take it somewhere fun. NOTE: Like a couple of others here, this is an attempt at a realistic WWE. I will keep the same roster, same feuds, etc. I'll just take things in a different direction. Also, keep in mind that the first few shows could suck, as I have to stick with what WWE have given me. I appreciate feedback, good or bad. NOW LETS GET THIS THING STARTED, WOOO~!

Dark Age 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2005 Well, even if no one else cares about this, it amuses me, so whatever. New Year's Revolution shaping up.... WWE's Raw brand will present the first annual 'New Year's Revolution' Pay-Per-View, live from Puerto Rico next week. Here's what they have lined up.... CONFIRMED Elimination Chamber Match for the Vacant World Heavyweight Championship (w/ Shawn Michaels as the Special Guest Referee) Triple H vs Chris Benoit vs Edge vs Randy Orton vs Chris Jericho vs Batista Kane vs Gene Snitsky World Women's Championship Lita © vs Trish World Tag Team Championships Eugene Dinsmore and William Regal © vs Christian and Tyson Tomko RUMOURED Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship Shelton Benjamin © vs Maven Muhammed Hassan vs Jerry "The King" Lawler Simon Dean vs Rosey It's obvious that WWE are going 'all or nothing' on this show with everything hinging on the main event. If it delivers, the show will. If it bombs, the Puerto Rican market may have been killed in one swoop. It's a similar situation to that of the Six-Man HIAC match at Armageddon 2000. Whereas, in the past, the Elimination Chamber has been used on a double branded show, NYR is Raw only. That means that the undercard is extra thin, as all the main players are in the main event. At SurvivorSeries 2002 and SummerSlam 2003, WWE had SmackDown! to fall back on to fill the undercard. At this PPV, they're relying on newcomers (Hassan, Dean), guys struggling to get over (Maven) and guys who simply aren't good enough (Snitsky). The reason there are only 7 matches (maybe even cut down to 6) is because the main will go extra long. It will, apparantley, feature the 5 minute intervals that we saw at Survivor Series 02, as opposed to the 3 minutes at SummerSlam in 03. In terms of competitors' abilities, this is the strongest chamber yet. Helmsley, Orton and Jericho are all performing better leading into this Chamber than they were in the past two, while substituting Nash, Goldberg and Shawn (or Booker, RVD and Kane) for Benoit, Edge and Batista is a step in the right direction. There is talk that, like with the main event, this is Maven's 'all or nothing' show. A good performance could see him get a healthy push, a possible IC Title run, and maybe a spot in Evolution. However, if the match between he and Benjamin doesn't go well, Maven may very well see himself languishing in the lower card for some time to come. Because of this, Shelton will go over at NYR, but don't rule out a future reign for Maven. NYR may well see the end of Snitsky's WWE career, at least in a meaningful fashion. Expect a quick squash for Kane. There is some talk of having Matt Hardy invovled in the match on Sunday, but what role he will (or may) play is unknown. Officials are expecting big things from the Trish/Lita match. Everyone was delighted with how their Raw match went, and the general feeling is that, with an extra 5-10 minutes, they could produce the best female match in years. Some people within the company are pushing for Christian and Tomko to win the tag titles. This would allow them to FINALLY go through with William Regal's heel turn. Insiders are worried about the King/Hassan match currently planned. The feeling is that a foreign crowd won't be receptive to a USA vs Un-Americans match. Simon Dean vs Rosey may be added to the card for Sunday. At this point in time, the winner of the Elimination Chamber is still very much in dispute. Triple H is pushing for Triple H to win the match. Brian Gerwitz thinks that the best option is for Triple H to win the title on Sunday, then drop it to Batista at Mania. Vince McMahon still thinks the best idea is for Triple H to win at NYR, then drop to Orton at Mania. Stephanie McMahon think Triple H should win on Sunday, then beat Orton, Flair, Batista, Benoit, Jericho and Edge in consecutive Pay Per Views. The current plan SEEMS to be for Shawn Michaels to cost Edge the title, but a heel turn may still be in the works. Credit: 411Mania.com/Wrestling
The C Man 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2005 Anyway, I thought I'd give this whole fantasy booking thing a shot. There are a couple of good ones in this folder, so I guess I've got standards to live up to. Mine is the best, just say it. OK, so I'm going to be using a few ideas what other people have used. Please don't consider it me 'stealing' your ideas - it's a compliment. Oh you betta not be stealing my ideas playa. No seriously, don't even think about it. I'm kidding, of course. Anyway if you need any help/opinions/anyone to bounce ideas off of then feel free to ask me. I'm the best booker on TSM, according to Officer Goeman anyway. Dark Age 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2005 HBK as Referee adds more unpredictabilty to Elimination Chamber Jan. 3, 2005 What will be the fallout from the last Raw of 2004? After such a blockbuster show with so many twist and turns affecting New Year’s Revolution, emotions will most definitely be running at an all-time high. As Raw went off the air last week, it was announced that Shawn Michaels will be the special guest referee for the Elimination Chamber Match. Triple H and several other Superstars didn’t look too pleased with the announcement. It’s no secret that The Game and HBK have bad blood that will probably never go away. And Edge cost Michaels the World Heavyweight Championship at Taboo Tuesday. That’s something that the Showstopper surely hasn’t forgotten. Will this cause Edge to speculate further that everyone is out to get him in his quest for the World Heavyweight Championship? Batista must be happy that he will be entering the Elimination Chamber last, but it was clear that didn’t sit well with Triple H last week. How will the two continue to co-exist, and will Ric Flair be able to keep them together as a cohesive unit heading into New Year’s Revolution? The explosive situation regarding the World Heavyweight Title has led Eric Bischoff to announce a blockbuster main event for this week's Raw. All six men in the Elimination Chamber match - in the same ring, at the same time. It will be Triple H, Batista and Edge taking on Randy Orton, Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit. Can future opponents co-exist to gain an advantage going in to the Chamber match? Also, after verbally and physically assaulting Good Ol’ J.R. and The King last week on Raw, Muhammed Hassan and Khosrow Daivari will square off against the Raw announcing duo in a battle of the minds as Eric Bischoff signed a debate to take place on the first Raw of 2005. Could Muhammed and Khosrow use this as a ploy to launch a physical, rather than verbal, attack on the Raw announcers, or will The King have something up his sleeve? How will the other Raw superstars react to the debate? Could a match be signed for New Year's Revolution? Last week, Gene Snitsky found out he’d be facing Kane at New Year’s Revolution. Will that announcement send Snitsky on the war path this week? Will Kane make an appearance ahead of their big match, to perhaps send a message to Snitsky? Kane’s wife Lita also found out she’d be putting her Women’s Championship on the line at New Year’s Revolution in a rematch against rival Trish Stratus. The two Divas’ will cross paths this week on Raw when they meet in a tag team contest, with Victoria and Molly Holly their partners, respectively. In recent weeks, Christian and Tyson Tomko have made clear their intentions to take the World Tag Team Championships. This Monday night on Raw, Christian will meet one half of the Champs, William Regal, in a singles match. Will Christian fare as well as his partner "The Problem Solver" did on Heat? How will this affect the Tag Team Title match that has been signed for New Year's Revolution? How will have the advantage going in to it? Maven has undergone a change in attitude lately, ever since he missed out on the World Heavyweight Championship. Maven seems determined to win gold. He won't get his wish this week, however he will have the opportunity to face Shelton Benjamin, a man he pinned just recently, in a non-title match. Could a victory for Maven put him in line for a shot at "Mr Benjamin"? Be sure to tune in to Monday Night Raw (9/8 CT; Spike TV) for all the answers.
