Guest Jason Report post Posted January 7, 2005 My favourite is the OHL, which is part of the CHL. I have always been a huge fan of the London Knights, and with the Leafs currently out of commision, they are officially my favourite team right now. Also, add the fact that they are doing very well and have lost only 2 games, and have won 33. They set the record for longest unbeaten streak a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, there aren't many games that are televised. Sportsnet picks them up from time to time but mostly, if you ever want to see a Knights game, you have to get tickets and with the streak, it is VERY VERY VERY hard. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2005 Any of the CHL leagues are good for me, with my preference being the OHL, having lived in Ontario for virtually my entire life. I try and catch the WHL and the Q whenever I can.

treble 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2005 I'll sometimes try and catch whatever CHL games Sportsnet shows if there's nothing else on. I went to the OHL All-Star game last year, but I don't know if I'd make much effort to go to any other game aside from maybe the Memorial Cup. The local team is in the Jr. A (tier II) CJHL league and were in the national top 10 at one point earlier this year (they still may be, I'm not sure). I've been to a couple of their games this year, but that's only because I was volunteering for the local cable access guys, working one of the TV cameras. Very few players from the league go on to much success, the only 2 notables (and they're pretty big notables) are Larry Robinson and Steve Yzerman. I'm pretty sure Dainius Zubrus and Ray Sheppard spent some time in the league, too.

the max 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 All I have access to is the ECHL, which I barely pay attention to. When I still lived in MA, I went to a TON of Providence Bruins games, so I'll say AHL by default.
Guest Daddy X Report post Posted January 8, 2005 NCAA Hockey East is really taking my mind off the NHL which is good. I've gone to every BU home game, including opening night at the new Agganis Arena which was just sick. BC game next week...should be great. Go Terriers. Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 OHL. And with Rogers televising 67s games at least once a week, it isn't difficult catching games for those can't get tickets.
