Guest carnage Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Carnage sat quietly at the bar as Frisco rattled on endlessly about the opportunities awaiting him at the SWF Lockdown card. He fired a quick glance at Candace, who was sitting to his immediate right, as she ordered a diet Coke. The grating monotony of Frisco’s diatribe soon became tuned out as Carnage watched the bar tender spray the foamy soda into a large glass mug and hand in to the lovely Asian. As Candace reaches into her purse Carnage quickly dropped a five spot in front of the bar tender. Candace seemed surprised at the gesture, and smiled appreciatively. “…You have to make the most of you’re opportunities” Frisco bellowed as Carnage turned his attention back to his insistent manager. “You’ve been in a rut lately. You need to get re-energized!” Carnage just nodded quietly as he noticed a younger man walking uncomfortably close to Candace. He immediately tuned out Frisco and turned his attention to the interloper. As the man got closer he bumped into Candace seat, nearly spilling her drink. “Oh…I’m terribly sorry honey!” he exclaimed as Carnage shifted in his seat and locked his eyes on the man. “Take it easy, big guy!” he said in an annoyingly patronizing manner. Candace glanced at Carnage…who was by now nearly standing up…and smiled politely as if to assure him it was OK. “Let me buy you a drink!” the man continued as Carnage returned to his seat. Candace waved him off and turned to Carnage. She looked at the expression on his face and could immediately tell he was pissed. A hint of a smile past her lips as she patted Carnage on the back appreciatively. “Don’t worry…No problem!” As Carnage tried to recompose himself he watched the intruder walk off to another table. Candace quietly returned to her drink and once again the voice of Frisco invaded his inner calm. “At Lockdown you’re going to make an impact!” Half an hour later Carnage was standing outside the bar with Candace as Frisco struggled to find the keys for his Limo. He shoved his hand deep into his suit coat pocket and came out with a box of cough drops. An annoying laugh broke the silence as Frisco turned to face Candace. “I don’t think we’ll get very far with that!” Frisco clumsily went into the other pocket before finally retrieving the keys. He awkwardly used the hit and peck technique to find the keyhole as Carnage began to worry about his managers drinking spree at the bar. “I think I drive home” Candace interrupted as she took the keys from Frisco’s hand. “I like a women who takes charge!” Frisco responded with a wink as he moved to the rear to open the back door. As Candace was walking to the front of the car a familiar voice broke the silence. “I do too” Carnage immediately turned his attention to the young man he saw earlier in the bar. A scowl crossed his face as he realized the guy was now with three friends. “Where you guys going?” he asked as Candace opened the drivers’ side door. “Home…it’s time for bed!” she replied as she motioned nervously for Carnage to get into the passengers side door. Carnage glanced at the back seat to find Frisco already collapsed and apparently asleep. He furrowed his brow as a look of rage began to form behind the mask. He reached over to the passengers’ side door and grabbed the handle as he felt his rage start to get the best of him. “You know, you have an awfully cute ass!” The young guy said matter of factly as Candace did her best to ignore him. The SWF resident maniac released the door handle and turned his immediately turned his attention to the group of men. They quickly moved in and before he knew it Carnage had three men standing in front of him. The leader…the one who was so unsuccessfully hitting on Candace…locked eyes on the nearly seven-foot Carnage. As the tension mounted a smile surprisingly made its way to Carnages lips. “I know” he replied and winked, as the punk seemed caught off guard. CRASH! Carnage instantly nailed the man with a blistering knife-edge. He collapsed to the concrete in agony as his two friends looked at each other with sheer terror in their eyes. The moment Carnage glanced in their direction they burst into full gallop and ran from Carnage with surprising speed. As Carnage turned his attention back to the young man on the ground he was surprised to see him holding a knife in his shaky hand. THUD! The threat was soon ended as Candace had crossed in front of the car and nailed him with a Buzz Saw kick to the skull, as he was getting ready to use the knife. A look of surprise flashed over Carnages face as Candace opened the front door for him. “Time to go home” she said softly as he got into the passenger side seat. Toxxic 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Not as good as 'Build a Bear'. Interesting dynamic on Carnage's character, but I'm waiting to see where this will go in relation to his in-ring action.
