Styles 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 OK, I'm pretty annoyed right now. I just opened Firefox like normal but instead of opening the browser a box came up that said I needed to select a profile to use or something. The one avaliable in the list was "default", so I tried choosing that but it says that it hasn't been created yet or something. I really don't know what all this is about and just want to get on the WWW, so I just clikc "create a profile" which is called default user or something and the box that says "don't show this window when starting" or something is checked. I'm enraged to find out all my settings have disappeared. My bookmarks, icon preferences, installed plugins, everything is back to as it would be at default. What the hell is going on here? I didn't think much when the box came up and just wanted to ignore it so I could get on Firefox but what the hell did I just do? And most importantly how do I get my settings back? Please help! Styles 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 n/m, I think. I restarted my computer (should have done that to begin with) got the box again and selected "default" and this time all my settings came back as they were. Still pretty weird... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
