Since somebody has to ask, what is BATTLEBOWL~?

Battlebowl was a PPV in WCW from '91-'93.  It goes like this:

 

a) names were drawn at random (in the same manner as the Royal Rumble, out of one of those turning thingys) to be tag teams.

 

b) The first two names to be drawn are on teams, and face the next two names that are drawn, and so on.

 

c) It is not a tournament, but rather the teams that win their matches go on to a battle royal (Battlebowl), and the winner back the would get a Battle Bowl ring, but I guess we should give them a title shot in this case.

 

d) since we don't have enough people to make a regular sized battle royal with just winners, we could just add regular wrestlers like we did for the rumble, or do two separate battle royals, one ring with the winners and one with the losers, with the winners then going on to have a match for the title shot.

I'll make myself useful and take all of the names and pick them out of a hat, then PM them to the main Booker for that PPV.  Everything is kept a surprise until the PPV, basically no one will know who they are teaming with.

I have a good idea on how the card will look like. I'm only going to have 8-10 matches on the show.

 

I have a funny idea that involves the "Womens Title". Maybe for the next PPV we could do a "Evening Gown" match, as some sort of tongue-in-cheek type of deal.

I actually like Plex's idea better, because with no battle royal, certain people COUGHcabooseCOUGH won't be able to book themselves to eliminate me...
