GAB 2004- Worst PPV of Year?

Recommended Posts

Based on what I've read about Eddy/JBL and Rey/Chavo, I can probably safely assume that they trump Benoit/Kane and HIAC.

I disagree, Benoit / Kane told a great in-ring story that made it one of my favorite title matches from last year.

Would anyone else besides me put the Benoit vs Kane Raw match ahead of Bad Blood? I liked the pace in this one better and liked how they got over so much in one match. The unfairness of the stips, once again Kane's monstor size, how hard it is to make Kane submit, Benoit's technical ability.

The ending is all sorts of cool with a nice sequence of moves where Benoit with believable and sensable offence fianlly breaks down Kane for the submission. At no time do you not think Kane is a monstor. A better match overall I say as they also had the advantage of finishing off the Bad Blood story. This match flows really well (better than Bad Blood) and all the countering throughout is very smart. Bad Blood is fun with a nice story but I think Raw topped it.
