Worst WWF/E card of all time?

Windham, In my opinion, hasn't had a good match in over a decade

I dunno, I think he enjoyed something of a career resurgance after being brought back by WCW in late 98, I enjoyed his stuff with Curt Hennig (evil horsemen) and they had some entertaining matches with Benoit/Malenko and again as part of the West Texas Rednecks....I even saw what must have been a fairly recent match with him against Steve Corino and he looked pretty sharp in that....

OK, I think this is a more suitable type of phrasing Compare Barry Windham mid 80's-1992 to Barry Windham since then, and you probably wouldn't think it was the same person.

Has Windham finally retired, or does he still compete now and then? Last I saw him was at MLW War Games, where he wasn't in too great of shape, and was only in the match for 4-5 minutes.

Very true, I think a knee injury between 92-93 caused his weight to spiral out of control and therefore adversely effect his workrate aswell, it was first noticable to me in his Superbrawl 3 match with Mutoh, this should have rocked but didn't, I guess it was all down hill from there.....

WWF @ Louisville, KY - Louisville Gardens - September 14, 1996 (3,262)

The Bushwhackers defeated Justin Bradshaw & Uncle Zebakiah

Freddie Joe Floyd defeated TL Hopper

Farooq defeated Bob Holly

Jerry Lawler defeated Barry Windham

WWF Tag Team Champions the Smoking Gunns fought the Grimm Twins to a double count-out

Psycho Sid defeated Goldust

The Undertaker defeated Mankind in a casket match

WWF World Champion Shawn Michaels defeated Vader

That one looks bad, but it isn't the worst card Louisville has ever seen. I was at this one and I the one thing I remember most was meeting Kerry Von Erich before the show started. The card itself was pretty much shit.

WWF @ Louisville, KY - Louisville Gardens - May 9, 1991

Texas Tornado fought the Warlord to a double count-out

Earthquake defeated Jake Roberts via disqualification

The Berzerker defeated Tugboat

Sgt. Slaughter defeated Jim Duggan

Paul Roma & Hercules defeated the Bushwhackers when Roma pinned Butch

IRS defeated Jimmy Snuka

The Big Bossman pinned the Mountie

Someone mailed me a tape with a Coliseum Video tape called World Tour 96 on it. He tacked it on as a joke as the tape's main content was GAB 89 and Spring Stampede 99. It was the 1996 Kuwaiti cup or some such and was very awful. Bret vs Austin was one of the matches, and it was awful too, noteworthy only for Austin tapping out in the sharpshooter.

World Tour 96- Time 1:00 VQ- MASTER

Ahmed Johnson & Yokozuna vs The New & Improved Rockers

Bret "Hitman" Hart vs "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

Duke "The Dumpster" Droese vs The British Bulldog

Ahmed Johnson vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley

Ahmed Johnson vs Owen Hart (Kuwaiti Cup Finals 96)

No to be off topic, but on the matches Windham/Hennig had against Malenko/Benoit...

They were AWFUL. Uncensored 99 features blown spots galore, BLOWN UP wrestlers galore, and Windham's fat gut and awful goatee. The finish sucks too, but that is actually Malenko and Benoit's fault. Check it out to see how each kinda muffed it.

Those Kuwait shows were silly. Pushing a new guy (Ahmed or later Tiger Ali Singh) over stars such as BRET HART, OWEN HART, STEVE AUSTIN, VADER, MANKIND, etc. (they were all in those two tournaments).

"Hey, this is Tiger Ali, he won the tournament! Bret didn't! Austin didn't!"

"Next up, Tiger Ali on Raw. He'll be facing Brooklyn Brawler. And it'll take him 4:22 to defeat him. BUT HE WON THE KUWAIT CUP."

Where's the logic there?
