Vern Gagne Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 Linehan's biggest accomplishment is helping mold Daunte Culpepper into on the best QB's in the NFL. It's something Culpepper himself has said. He's also a pass first...pass often cordinator.

Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 With the great defense Miami has with Saban's brilliance he deployed at LSU. I don't think he'll need to focus to much on the offensive side of ball. He smartly chose a OC with quality background.

At this point I doubt they will end up drafting a RB with both Edgerrin James and Travis Henry saying they want to play in Miami. I would think that one or the other will end up there at some point. If they do get one of those two I would want Miami to draft a QB. The guy from Utah maybe (Alex Smith I think?) or Jason White even, although I would personally stay away from a guy with a history of bad knee(s?).
HarleyQuinn Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 If I were Miami, I might look at Charlie Frye or Jason Campbell as a 2nd or 3rd round QB to draft. Maybe target a DE to compliment Taylor in the 1st round and bolster the pass rush some.
Crimson Platypus Posted January 21, 2005 Author Report Posted January 21, 2005 If they don't grab a QB in the first round the only other acceptable position (assuming they get a FA RB) would be O-line. The o-line was absolutely horrendous this year, and hasn't really been any good in about 5 years.
