Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 I shoveled out my driveway as fast as possible. 34 minutes.
KingPK Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 Well, we ended up with about 30" or so, but it's the real airy, powdery, ski-area type snow, so it was easy to move and it should melt fairly quickly. I take back any good things I've ever said about snow, though.
nl5xsk1 Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 Count me as another that's pretty apathetic about ~The Blizzard of 2005~ ... we ended up getting just over 2 feet, maybe 30", but nothing worth flipping out about. I went out drinking with some friends on Saturday, and when I got home I got high and went for a walk in the snow. Yesterday, I dug my car out (fucking plow drivers blocked my car in ... literally just mine, my neighbors cars were 2 & 3 spots further over, they were fine. My car was pretty much surrounded by snow) and then went to a friend's house to watch the games. Total negative effect on my weekend: about 45 minutes worth of shoveling.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 I pretty much stayed in the house all weekend with my girlfriend but her period decided to show up on Friday. I think I would've rather faced the blizzard. Being with a girl on her period within closed confines can result in confrontations not unlike UFC. Actually Sunday wasn't half bad. I just gave her a Corona and let her play GTA while I watched football. I think I'm onto something here...
