therealworldschampion Posted January 23, 2005 Author Report Posted January 23, 2005 If that happens, the fans will make Red Sox Nation pre-2004 look satisfied.
smh810 Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Brian Westbrook is taking over this drive.
Guest El Satanico Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Philly just dodged the game changing, ego deflating, confidence shattering bullet on the dropped INT.
therealworldschampion Posted January 23, 2005 Author Report Posted January 23, 2005 Yeah that was a close one there. If the Eagles can stop Atlanta here and get the ball back, they're in good shape.
2GOLD Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Gotta make that pick in the NFC title game, no excuses. Falcons need a touchdown to turn the tide. Big, big drive for the Philly D.
therealworldschampion Posted January 23, 2005 Author Report Posted January 23, 2005 NICE STOP there by the defense. Interesting note, at my mom and stepdad's house, up in NJ near Philly, their neighbor is Derrick Burgess. Looks like the defense will have to finish this game for the Eagles.
2GOLD Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 I figured out one big thing Michael Vick needs to learn: Sometimes you aren't going to get away. He's gotta learn sometimes an incomplete pass is better than an 8 yard loss on a sack.
therealworldschampion Posted January 23, 2005 Author Report Posted January 23, 2005 DAWKINS~! with the pick!
iggymcfly Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 TERRIBLE throw by Vick there. It looks like he's trying to give the game away right now.
Guest El Satanico Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Philly is getting all the breaks with potential turnovers in the redzone, but has only gotten 6 points with them.
2GOLD Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Neither of these offenses are playing like they want to go to the Super Bowl here in the second half. If the Falcons had been halfway decent here in the third (aka Vick stop being an idiot) then they could be at the minimum tied. He has lost 28 yards on sacks, that has GOT to stop.
2GOLD Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 No way the Eagles defense gives up 10 points in the fourth quarter. It's not happening. Philly has this one sealed in a zipper bag.
Guest El Satanico Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Well you have to give alot of credit to the defenses for how the offenses are playing.
2GOLD Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Well you have to give alot of credit to the defenses for how the offenses are playing. Some credit, I won't give them credit for Vick bouncing around like an idiot and then falling down when touched. The run stopping though, that has been outstanding. But these penalties, sacks taken and such are not defensive credit.
therealworldschampion Posted January 23, 2005 Author Report Posted January 23, 2005 Hahaha that policeman SPEARED that idiot who ran on the field. One more TD wins this game for the Eagles.
Guest El Satanico Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Yes, Atlanta's defense deserves more credit in this game, but both have played well.
therealworldschampion Posted January 23, 2005 Author Report Posted January 23, 2005 Give Dirk Johnson some credit too, he's doing a good job punting.
Guest Vitamin X Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Hearing these things about Atlanta's defense just makes me hate Mike Sherman more for firing Donatell.
2GOLD Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Agreed, the defenses have been beyond impressive. And Dirk Johnson deserves a raise for that kick alone. Eagles have played more complete football while the Falcons defense has been forced to carry their team this whole. Remember, Vick should have two picks in this game.
Fökai Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Has Peerless Price done anything to warrant his contract?
therealworldschampion Posted January 23, 2005 Author Report Posted January 23, 2005 My neighbor with a big sack. If I was still living there I would've dug his truck out of the snow for free. Once again, one TD wins this game for Philly.

Once again, one TD wins this game for Philly. Just not turning the ball over for a touchdown twice wins this game for Philly. The offense of the Falcons is no threat whatsoever. And no, Price hasn't done a thing. Should have left him in Buffalo.
therealworldschampion Posted January 23, 2005 Author Report Posted January 23, 2005 Probably, I'm really impressed by Keith Adams's play today. I want a 27-10 score to eliminate the karma from the 2002 NFC title game and the Super Bowl in 1980, same scores there too.

Cuban Linx Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 I think it's safe for Philly to be booking their trip to Jacksonville now.
The Man in Blak Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 And Philly hath passed the Torch of Eternal Chokery to Michael Vick and the Falcons.
Damaramu Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 YES THAT IS IT! THE EAGLES ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL! YES! Unless the Falcons can do something super heroic.....
therealworldschampion Posted January 23, 2005 Author Report Posted January 23, 2005 Oh my god I can't believe it. WE'RE GOING TO JACKSONVILLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for using "we", just so pumped right now!!!!!!
smh810 Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Congratulations Philly fans you deserve it.
