Scott Hall's old finishing move...

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know what Hall's finishing move was back in this time frame(before the Razor's Edge)? Also, what was Curt Hennig's while he was in the AWA? Thanks.

To tell you the truth, I can't recall Hall winning a match in that time, so I'm not sure.

How was he half of the tag team champions if he never won a match?!?

Unless you mean he was never the guy that did the move that got the pin, or was never the guy that made the pin ... in which case I'll shut up.

The only 2 hall AWA matches I have on tape are a battle royal he wins when Gagne wanted him to be the next big thing (Yes Verne wanted HALL as his company flagbearer)

and the Hall/Hennig vs Long Riders from WrestleRock

No finishers there IIRC

Gosh...I remember seeing a promo video from like 1990 or so in WCW where he was coming in as "Gator" Scott Hall...it was pretty lame. They did show clips of him beating a jobber in a squash, between clips of him hanging out at a gator farm (really), and poking at a gator with a long stick (double really), but I don't recall any specific finishing move he used.

I also couldn't recall a match in which he got the pin around that time frame....did Hennig use anything other than the occasional figure four in his AWA years?
