I'm pissed about the main event. Tenzan's credibility is down the drain right now and now there are rumours he might even retire! Kojima as "King Of Puroresu"? Ugh.

Well he lasted 59:45 so it's not as if he was squashed.

Although I would rather him have won than Kojima.

Yeah, but where to go with Tenzan now? With the three joke title-runs he's had, he's lost about all his credibility. I don't see how Tenzan can bounce back from this, really.

Either they build him back up strong, or at least try to and have him kick ass in a rematch winning in 20/30m, or it could even be best if he does retire.

At least then things couldn't get worse.

They won't be building Tenzan back up. There's a reason why Nagata went after Kojima after the match -- it's because Nagata is the guy who's most over out of that generation. If anyone wins it back, it'll be him...wouldn't put it past Tanahashi, either, but I'm thinking it'll be Nagata.

Tenzan will have all the time in the world to win the title again, seeing how he has held the title this many times. He was getting a bigger push for the past two years (made look like G1 King) than Kojima was in his career. If Kojima would lose he would lose his complete power as an AJ ace and as a top wrestler in Japan. Like i said before, they will always partially blame it on Tenzan not being 100% but baby - I didnt think the match would last that long.

I've dreamt this far so now nothing should stop Kojima for at least few months. I just want him to crush Muto, Chono, Sasaki and Tenryu.

The main event is a must see match. An easy *****, with incredible drama and heat, especially in the closing stretch. The whole emotion and intensity in the ring, and the arena, was spine tingling. Unless something very special happens later on this year, this should easily win MOTY in Japan, and probably overall as well.

Well hopefully it ends up good, I like Kojima and it's good to see him get the big push, a defence vs Nagata should make for good viewing, but i'm personally more interested in the thought of a Kojima vs Tanahashi match.
