Chavo wins by pinning London with his feet on the ropes.

2nd year in a row Chavo Guerrero has won the Cruiserweight Title at No Way Out.

Well, they COULD be wise and book London to win the belt at WM.

I, however, pick them to put the belt on a returning Jacqueline.

When the hell was that grounds for a loss in a match?

I hate it when WWE makes up these fucking rules on the fly just for the sake of a finish. Like that one time Edge was disqualified for dropping Jericho on the top rope.

Meh...I was sort of sidetracked, but what happened? He couldn't get up after being down for 10 right? If so, that's grounds for losing...*points to the numerous Last man standing matches...it's the same thing in a regular match..

London and Akio were both being 10-counted, a cliche spot in every wrestling match. London got up at 9, which usually stops the process, but the ref counted 10 at Akio, and Akio was eliminated.

The WWE Cruiserweight Title is the same title and same lineage as the WCW Cruiserweight Title.

It's not like the WCW/World Title dispute where they STOPPED USING THE TITLE BELT.

Tajiri won the WCW Cruiser title from X-Pac.

WCW Folded. Tajiri kept defending the title.

Smackdown! absored the SAME title belt and openly admitted they wanted the title due its prestige.

So yes, Chavo wins his 4th title, with wins over Daffney, Mike Sanders, Rey Mysterio, and Paul London.

Getting up at 9 (one guy) when the other is down does NOT stop the process.

Usually, in an old cliched spot, both guys get up at 9 to add to the "drama".

If they fooled you into thinking that, it was due to repeated poor officiating. Back in the 80's-early 90's the WWF always pointed it out.

Fifth...he traded the title with Jacqueline last May.

I don't blame you for erasing that from your memory.

I think it's fifth.

You forgot when he beat Jacqueline for the belt.

-didn't XP sell the LH title on Ebay?

Sold it on an auction for NWA-TNA, actually...IIRC.

But that wasn't the Cruiserweight title he had for that.

Chavo winning the belt was the best move.

1) Casual only-WM buyers might remember Chavo from last year and his winning the gauntlet by cheating.

2) Just like relationships, the Chase is always better than the Victory. We should get some fun London "proving himself" matches (in Chavo's words), even tho London dominated tonight.

3) More people want to see London win the title than defend it at WM, IMO.

4) A title win means more at WM than No Way out.
