Skywarp! 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2005 The release date is set for around 3/24, and yet we haven't heard much about the game. http://www.eagames.com/redesign/games/ps2/...itters/home.jsp The rating has jumped to M. There's talk about 16 man online play for PS2 and XBox. Using your mapmaker maps online will be a nice touch. Hopefully they'll keep those deep multiplayer options online. I can't imagine too many people will be playing Virus matches, but that could be fun.

Skywarp! 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 Nice. TS2 still stands in my eyes as the best FPS of this generation, and I think it has no small part to do with the fact that Free Radical is made up of the Goldeneye/Perfect Dark team that fled Rare when it was sold to Microsoft. There is seriously some unpalpable x-factor in their level design that kept the game interesting when most other FPSs out there were snoozers.
Eclipse 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 The multiplayer options in TS2 were awesome, and addictive. The story mode ruled. It was game that I could just pick up and play, and it was hard to get bored of it. I am anxiously awaiting this game.
Skywarp! 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2005 Well, it's out. IGN says the single player is a bit weak, but that the multiplayer is as deep as ever and is pretty much the whole point. All versions still sport classic splitscreen with bots. For Gamecube, that's the only option. XBox gets 16 player online matches. I weep, as PS2 gets only 8. Still, playing Virus online must be fun.
