Deicide Tour....

Recommended Posts

OH YEAH~! I have seen Deicide a few times already, but this lineup fucking OWNZ~! Last time I saw them Amon Amarth was supporting and they were amazing live. I have seen Skinless before w/Dying fetus and they are great live as well. Immolation I have never seen before, but I have one of their CDs, and while I don't particularly think they are the cream of the cop, I am sure they will be brutal live........ :headbang:

Gotta wait till June..........

Did you see that Deicide video they played a few times on Headbangers Ball? THAT was some funny stuff as their are all these guys on motorcycles just flying through where the band is playing. So many tough guy stares. I could feel the metal coming off my tv screen. Hail the devil. :headbang:

Deicide is old, and their last few CDs have definately showed what happens when a gimmick lasts too long, however they still put on a good live show, playing the classics, plus SKINLESS and IMMOLATION are on the tour. I think Balls Mahoney used to wear an Immolation shirt to the ring in ECW.

I'm not saying they're terrible or not metyl enough, just that Deicide's really existed longer than they needed to. Same goes for Corrosion of Conformity and Napalm Death.

CoC and Napalm Death are absolutely awful now, and for a while previous, though.

In the "showing how much Slayer has been paying attention" file:

I read that a couple months ago, Benton and the Hoffman brothers had a falling out that lead to the brothers getting kicked out or quitting (depending on whose side you believe) and so the Hoffman brothers have been replaced by the two guitarists from Vital Remains (whose CD Dechristianize is a must buy for death metal fans, IMO)
