Fökai 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2005 So which youth movement is better the "Baby Bulls" or "DA YOUNGSTAS" Hawks? If you're referring to the Baby Bulls as the unit of Hinrich, Gordon and Deng... Bulls, but not by much. The Hawks have all the potential to succeed, but I doubt that any of them outside of *maybe* Smith wants to stay. Both of the "Baby Hawks" were born and raised in Los Angeles, so I'd expect them to bolt.

Donta Smith and Josh Smith are from Atlanta...well...at least he spent a good number of years in highschool here before he "moved" his senior year to play for Oak Hill(josh). Childress I think is going to be a good player. People just watch that horrible jump shot and think he will suck, but he is a very competant ball handler, a very underrated defender, a damn good rebounder because of his incredibly long arms, and is a good finisher around the basket. PLUS the Hawks have a 6'9" point guard that plays(and defends) 4 positions. Plus Al Harrington still counts as a YOUNGSTA~! so I kinda like the Smith, Smith, Childress, Diaw, Ivy vs the Hinrich, Deng, Gordon, Curry, Chandler, Duhon...damn they have a lot of young players... I think the bulls win but not by much.
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted February 25, 2005 I wouldn't be surprised if they had talked to Peyton about the whole thing and gave him the scenerio of him returning before pulling the trigger. Its only illegal to do if somebody admitted to it happening, but if both keep hush-hush on it then its just a weird scenerio.

They had to, because you would have heard him cursing all across the country if that was not the case. There is noway this deal went down without The Hawks and Celtics knowing that Gary's Contract was going to be bought out.
