Precious Roy Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Pitbulls vs Headbangers was cool The ECW Pitbulls? When did this happen?
landy1987 Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 I remember enjoying several Goldust/Steven Richards matches on Heat in 2003, and several mixed tags with Trish & Victoria too. I also remember a great match with Jericho & Hurricane in 2003 (just after Mania I believe)
CheesalaIsGood Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 I remember the Acolytes destroying Public Enemy one night on Heat. It was awesome. They got in A punch. Thats it. No more no less. Matt Hardy had a great lil 7 minute match with Angle on Heat I THINK in 2001 before Angles match with Shane at KOTR. There were also a few gems in the early part of the E+C vs. the Hardys feud too.
pochorenella Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 I also remember a great match with Jericho & Hurricane in 2003 (just after Mania I believe) I second that one. Also any of the two Hurricane vs Stevie Richards matches where Hurricane got to hit the Vertebreaker.
Guest jm29195 Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 Chris Benoit vs Tyson Tomko was pretty funny for watching Benoit destroy Tomko with 10 germans in a row! Essa Rios vs Angle from some time in Angle's chamionship reign must have been pretty interesting, didn't see it but have heard of it taking place...
Mecha Mummy Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 Another one I liked was Maven vs. Christopher Nowinski from Heat around February 2003. That was like the best singles match I've ever seen either man in.
Jericholic82 Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 Chris Benoit vs Tyson Tomko was pretty funny for watching Benoit destroy Tomko with 10 germans in a row! Hey I was there! The crowd actually got way into this match (Benoit was pretty over when he was the champ and after) I just remember thinking "wow from the main event of the 2nd biggest ppv of the year to the main event of heat in one short week. His long line of germans reminded me of benoit/austin from 2001 I have seen many great matches on the b shows over the years, but remember that Heat was at first, not a b show (before smackdown came about that is), In its early days you had matches like taker vs mankind and they taped major angles during it as well. one good velocity match no one mentioned, from the debut ep of velocity in late may 2002, actually the first match in velocity history: Tajiri vs Billy Kidman. They had like an 18 minute match that was loads better than their backlash 02 match.
