iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2005 I don't really have a point right now, but I was kind of hoping people will figure out a point for the topic as it gets going. Anyway, I just wanted to say that kicking ass at poker is one of the purest, most visceral satisfactions on earth. Tonight, while I was fairly intoxicated, I took some suckers on PartyPoker for $150, and it felt just sexual in its satisfaction. Even though I was getting pretty good cards, there was a lot of the time when I could just see I was outsmarting someone, and it felt great. If anyone else wants to rant about this great feeling, they're more than welcome to use this space to do so. It seems that a lot more people are playing some form of poker nowadays anyway, so it only makes sense to have a thread to devoted to the game. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
dpac 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2005 I agree that winning a big hand is a awesome feeling, but when you loose a sure hand there is not a worse feeling. So it does go full circle. For example a few weeks ago I caught pocket 6's, the flop was a 6, King, Jack, Turn was a King, River was a 8. I thought I slow played it well and in the end I was all in with one of my buddies, we showed our cards and he had pocket 8's. Now that was shitty! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
