Ced 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2005 With The Mouth of the South being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the thought popped into my head. I remember him being a heel throughout most of his WWF tenure, then him as a face manager aligned with Hulk Hogan. However, for the life of me, I can't remember exactly the timeframe and scenario that turned him face. Help a brother out here.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted March 2, 2005 On a Monday Night Raw (2/15/93 I believe), Brutus Beefcake made his in ring return since his parasailing accident on 7/4/90. His match was against Ted Dibiase, who was managed by Jimmy Hart. About 5 minutes into the match, IRS knocked Beefcake from outside the ring with his briefcase, causing a DQ. Then afterwards, IRS/Dibiase worked over Beefcake, but Jimmy Hart kept trying to get them off of him, resulting in IRS dumping Hart out of the ring, then blasting Beefcake across the face with his briefcase. Jimmy Hart had sympathy for Beefcake and standing up against the evil heels, which really turned him face in the eyes of the fans. Since Beefcake was Hogans best friend, Jimmy took on Hogan as well. Scroby 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2005 Which led to a bad finish of a DQ with Hogan hitting one of Money Inc. with a foam mask. Which was the worse DQ EVER!
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted March 2, 2005 Jimmy Hart also threw the referee out of the ring before the DQ was called for.
JST 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2005 He then put on his jacket backwards, which had stripes, and counted a pin for his team. As a referee, even I wouldn't know how the HELL would that be valid.
