Kash drawing heat in TNA and a return?

There was something of a tiff last night between AJ Styles and Kid Kash before their match at the Impact! taping. According to several different sources, Styles got upset over something Kash said during a promo for their match on this Friday's Impact! episode, feeling he was shooting. The two, who don't get along historically, then had what was described to me as a tremendous match and later settled the issue without a major blowup.

Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantel were said to have pushed for the return of Nuevo Gran Apollo last night at the tapings.

Styles and Kash have always had major heat between the two of them which makes their matches so great imo. if Jarrett and Mantell can bring Apollo back this will be great imo. Apollo was one of my TNA favorites and would be an awesome addition to the company.

Apollo in 2002 TNA? Good. Good brawler, could move excellent for a man his size, and was put into a damn fine angle involving then-commish Ricky Steamboat and then-World champion The Truth.

Apollo in 2004 TNA? Terrible. Couldn't move at all, showed no charisma whatsoever, and was stuck in a terrible fucking feud teaming with D'Lo Brown taking on Kid Kash and Dallas.

I had heard they were bringing in Apollo to be the next Hector Garza, in terms of being a huge latin star.

Not happening, based on his 04 work. I really hope he brings his working boots, otherwise it'll be a long, heatless push.

Also, when is Kash NOT drawing heat?

In his sleep, and even then he probably is cursing someone out in his dreams.

Hopefully Apollo will be in his 2002 shape and not the overweight couldn't move at all guy we saw last year. He could be huge for them if we're talking 2002 Apollo.

As far as I know, he's the 2004 Apolo. I've seen some of his recent PR stuff, and its nothing special at all.

Rhodes was hoping to get Shocker in to be his "latino star" - must have panned out.

Garza could have been huge. Hell, he could still be huge, if the WWE were ever to sign him.

I think Apollo has been great in IWA Puerto Rico and one hell of a talent. There is no way that Mantell is going to let him end up being jobbed out left and right.

Has it been 6-8 months already? Seriously every few months Kash starts up trouble. Anyone else seeing AJ's attitude taking a turn for the worse? First he attacks a fan, then fights with Kash. Now it's no secret they don't like each other but AJ seems to be having a breakdown IMO.

I would believe it if it was anyone other than Kid Kash. Kash seems to have that effect on people.

at least Styles and Kash are professional enough to not let their personal dislike for one another spill over into their in-ring work. they were able to work a great match and didn't end up stiffing the shit out of each other, so they at least have their heads on straight. gotta give credit where it's due.

1. Deadbolt, we're not worried about Apollo NOT getting a push, we're worried about him being the same talentless sack of shit he was in '04 and GETTING a push.

2. Kash starts shit with everybody, but he's all professional where it counts. Hence why he is (drumroll, please)...
