Trytan vs. Monty Brown Winner: Trytan The new guy always wins. Kevin Nash vs. _____ ____ (First Blood match) Winner: _____ ____ See above. Expect interfierence from BG James. Abyss vs. Jeff Hardy (Falls Count Anywhere) Winner: Jeff Hardy See Raven vs. Rhodes TNA X Championship (Ultimate X Challenge match) AJ Styles vs. 3 other guys Winner: AJ Styles Givin. NWA World Heavyweight Championship El Kabong vs. Diamond Dallas Page Winner: DDP While it may seem not only unlikley but stupid, there have been rumblings of Jarrett getting the boot due to X-Pac heat. Magus 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2005 My Thoughts: Harris Brothers vs. Two Frat Boys: I will never understand the Jarretts' love for the Harris Boys. They're utter shit, but they keep pushing them on us every now and then. I could care less about the frat boys with the stupid name, or this match in general, so no prediction. Raven vs. Dustin Rhodes: Raven used to be TNA's biggest victim, but now there's so many others who have been so royally screwed, at least he's no longer alone. Rhodes will win this, and maybe after having to put over THE BOOKER'S SON so many times, Raven will hopefully take his ball and leave. Trytan vs. Monty Brown: Monty's another guy who's been screwed by TNA. I'd say just as bad as Raven was. Anyway, they can either make Monty look like like shit by losing after such a big push, or they can job out their debuting star. Either way they're screwed, but I'd put my money on Trytan getting the win. Kevin Nash vs. Billy Outlaw: They've done horrible work with Gunn's debut, but I'm curious what he could do with a main event spot. The match will be mediocre at best, and will involve shitloads of interference by Jarrett or James (I'm also slightly interested in a NAO reunion). Prediction: Nash loses, but not clean by a long shot. Abyss vs. Jeff Hardy: Both men are wasted here, but that's nothing new. I haven't kept up with their series of matches, so I'm not sure who'll win. I just can't find a reason to care about this at all. AJ Styles vs. 3 Other Guys: The X Division Golden Boy gets the win, no matter who's in it. I've never even seen an Ultimate X match and even I'm bored with it. There should be lots of neat trapeze stunts, but little story. Once again, I'm just not enthused about it. DDP vs. Jeff Jarrett: Page got this title shot for absolutely no rhyme or reason. So from a storyline perspective, this is shit. The match will once again be average at best, and I'm willing to bet overbooked to hell. Jarrett WILL win this, no matter how obvious he needs to lose (and leave forever). They're not just going to give DDP the title. When/if BG James and Billy Gunn get together, they'll hook up with Jarrett and he'll leach off of them for a while. But who's supposed to be the face in this insipid feud? Raven vs. Dustin Rhodes: No way Dustin jobs twice, so Raven looks at the lights here. I still don't care though... Trytan vs. Monty Brown: This is about the worst possible match TNA could have booked because it leaves them with no desirable options. Monty can't afford a loss to a new guy after being JJ's bitch, and Trytan's build up coming in will be all for nothing if he eats a Pounce during his in ring debut. Just a bad booking decision here. With that said, I think by some chicanery, Trytan wins. Kevin Nash vs. Billy Outlaw: I thnk they going to test Nash as a face and have him get screwed by Outlaw and Jarrett. Another case where there's no real winning combo. Billy losing his first match in would be bad, but Nash really hasn't won anything since coming in in November. Abyss vs. Jeff Hardy: Hardy probably wins here with some creative pin, a la Foley and the Rock at the Super Bowl, so he gets his win back but only beat Abyss by luck or by outsmarting him. AJ Styles vs. 3 Other Guys: The guys will be Daniels, Skipper and Sabin so they can throw XXX marks a bone w/o "breaking" the cage match stipulations. And it will of course come down to Daniels and AJ, with AJ barely hanging on to the belt, to set up a one-on-one rematch at Lockdown, rumored to be a cage match. DDP vs. Jeff Jarrett: TNA hasn't had a face champion in almost a year, ironically as long as JJ has the belt. So with that said, I think this will be the one. DDP is over and has proven he can work at least a *** match. JJ prolly won't bitch about jobbing to a star and the DDP will put over a heel like Abyss in a month or two. I go with PDS... no reason, just because I have no clue who they are. Raven vs. Dustin Rhodes Prediction: Raven. I think him losing here, even if he did win last month, would be a horrible decision. Of course, that means he jobs in 15 seconds. Trytan vs. Monty Brown Prediction: Brown, and hopefully he tackles the guy hard enough that he breaks something. WHY THE FUCK DID THEY KEEP HIM AND NOT NORTHCUTT?! Kevin Nash vs. The One New Age Ass Man Prediction: Nash, but who cares, this match will suck greasy ass. Abyss vs. Jeff Hardy Prediction: Abyss. No real reason, just going on... a hunch. (hits drum and symbol) Ultimate X Match: Prediction: A.J. Styles. I really don't care here, sadly, because the gimmick is just so lame and over-done, it really doesn't stand out. TNA just keeps regurgitating the same stuff on their PPV's, and expect people to keep ordering them? Jeff Jarrett vs. DDP Prediction: Jarrett.
