You guys are kidding yourselves if you think Triple H won't be the champion for WMXXII.

As far as Hassan, he'll still be stuck in the mid-card by the time Summerslam comes around. They can't even bother to elevate Edge to a serious heel, there's no way they'll resist cutting Hassan off at the knees like everyone else the last few years.

I'd say Summerslam is Batista vs. HHH II or III or maybe Batista vs. Edge but I imagine he'll be stuck with Jericho and Benoit in limbo by then. Are there even any other heels that he can face on PPV aside from HHH?

You're probably right, there. Hunter will be champ until he damned well feels like not being champ, which means they'll drag his casket to it's grave with the title belt hanging off of it. His casket will probably even have the same little "Triple H" plate that the belt has on it.

Batista vs. Edge? Eh, I can't see it. WWE has always fucked up Edge's pushes, and I can't see it being any different by August, at least on RAW. If they move him to SmackDown, it could give him somewhat of a fresh start, but I don't know . . . .

If it's Batista/HHH, it'll be the third match, in all likelihood - they'll probably have a rematch at Backlash. Batista/HBK I guess is a possibility, in some sort of face vs. face match, maybe with HBK winning the #1 contendership at the July PPV or on RAW.

You know, Hassan isn't the first person to mess up an irish whip. It's not exactly on Jackie Gayda levels of poor work. I've seen dozens of irish whips go wrong someway or another.

He made a mistake that wrestling students are well above by their 3rd or 4th lesson.

I don't think Hunter will be champion going in to WM XXII, but he'll come out of it as champion. Two years in a row of him dropping the belt at WM will be enough, and even teasing it with a third match with him as champion would be stretching it. Plus, he'll want a big WM Title win to make up for two WM championship jobs in a row, which would also mean a Rumble win as well.

It's hard to say with HHH these days. I guess he could also go in and retain at Mania too. I just know he'll be involved in the title match because he'll sabotage Batista like he has with everyone else.

Maybe we'll get HHH/HBK the final final final final seriously it's the final encounter this time.

If they want the Batista title run to work then they should turn Chris Jericho heel, maybe even Benoit too, and make some other guys credible contenders (maybe Hassan, Christian), then Batista has a good run in front of him, without having to face Triple H 1000 times.
