2GOLD 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 I'm hoping I get the Nova/N.Mex game over any of these. Should be a good one.
mike546 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 I can see Nova beating them. Beside their big east hiccup against WV, there one of the hottest teams in the nation.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 Well, where do you live? I should be getting it as out of all the teams, Villanova is the closest to DE. I know tonight we are getting the wonderful slaughter of Delaware State at the hands of Duke so hopefully they give me New Mexico.
Mole 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 UCF is actually keeping it somewhat close.
smh810 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 I can see Nova beating them. Beside their big east hiccup against WV, there one of the hottest teams in the nation. Villanova's good but cant hang with the Gators. UF is 9-10 deep has good guards and they play absolutely tenacious defense. If they play it'll be close but UF will wear them out in the end.. New Mexico on the other hand will get destroyed by the Gators.
mike546 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 UCF is actually keeping it somewhat close. Not with Villanueva playing the way he is. EDIT: OH FUCK! YOU BETTER NOT BE INJURED WILLIAMS!
Mole 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 Oh God, if Marcus is out then there goes UConn. They might win tonights game, but after that they won't do well. Fuck. Just tape it up and get back out there.

Mole 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 Wow, Nova and UNC are killing their respected opponents.
Guest Evolution Report post Posted March 18, 2005 Had to double check Yahoo! Sports, but indeed, UNC is stomping a mudhole in Oakland. I can't say I'm completely surprised, but I think I've been conditioned to games being so close lately that seeing UNC go to town is shocking in an "oh my god what an assbeating" kind of way. mike546 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 The guys on fire. Honestly, beside for the fact I'm a UConn fan, it'd be awesome if Gay, Charlie, Gay and Williams all come back next year. They'd be amazing.
Guest Shadow Report post Posted March 18, 2005 the first two sessions today have kicked me out of the pools.

Der Kommissar 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 Whoever called NM over Nova should put their head in shame. Well, you win some, you lose some. Hopefully St. Mary's and Old Dominion will win today, so I can at least get some pride back. And 10 points in the first half?!? That's fuckin' terrible! EDIT: Curiously, what is the lowest amount of points scored by a team in the NCAA tournament? New Mexico might be on their way to breaking the record. Guest Shadow Report post Posted March 18, 2005 why did New Mexico even bother showing up? 'They wasted their time bothering to wake up.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 If it's any consolation, New Mexico's the best mid-major in the country. They're totally beating 'Nova tomorrow. Villanova 34, New Mexico 11....you were saying?
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 The Lobos shot like hell in the first half, I mean 4-21??!?!?! I watched for a few minutes and they were missing open court lay-ups for god sake. And it's not like Villanova was anymore impressive, shooting 12-30 from the field. NM shocked the living hell out of me cause they are 100 times better than this. They will. None of those guys are NBA ready, even though Charlie thinks he is.
Mole 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 And has anyone else noticed that this tourney hasn't been as exciting as years past? There hasn't been a lot of buzzer beater shots like I remember from the past. I'm a bit disapointed.
Guest Shadow Report post Posted March 18, 2005 if you define exciting by buzzer beaters then you shouldn't get your hopes up. Alot of games have played very close.
Der Kommissar 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 It looks like New Mexico has come out strong in this half. They may well break 30 yet in this game.

Guest Shadow Report post Posted March 18, 2005 UCF has no right to be this close. and Im praying N. Mexico doesnt score another 7 pts.
Mole 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 Good God, UConn is only up by 8. If they lose, I think everyone will hear me scream.
mike546 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 Oh no. Please UConn, I've had enough collapses in the last year, not another one, please? EDIT: I've never seen a team COMPLETLEY have their entire offense revolve around the three point shot. Because thats ALL their doing. Christ.
Guest Shadow Report post Posted March 18, 2005 you see, it's this collaspe, i was expecting in the SECOND round against Charlotte and not against C. Florida.
