2GOLD Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 Well, where do you live? I should be getting it as out of all the teams, Villanova is the closest to DE. I know tonight we are getting the wonderful slaughter of Delaware State at the hands of Duke so hopefully they give me New Mexico.

Villanova's good but cant hang with the Gators. UF is 9-10 deep has good guards and they play absolutely tenacious defense. If they play it'll be close but UF will wear them out in the end.. New Mexico on the other hand will get destroyed by the Gators.

I can't say I'm completely surprised, but I think I've been conditioned to games being so close lately that seeing UNC go to town is shocking in an "oh my god what an assbeating" kind of way.

EDIT: Curiously, what is the lowest amount of points scored by a team in the NCAA tournament? New Mexico might be on their way to breaking the record.

I watched for a few minutes and they were missing open court lay-ups for god sake. And it's not like Villanova was anymore impressive, shooting 12-30 from the field. NM shocked the living hell out of me cause they are 100 times better than this.
