Slingshot Suplex 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 Did you count the crowd there? I stopped at 45,012 because I was having a hard time keeping track of people coming and going from their seats. Couldn't tell who I had already counted and who I hadn't.
Guest RVB Report post Posted April 3, 2005 I went to WM17, and literally had the worst seats possible (2nd from last row, at an angle where we couldn't see the top of the entrance ramp), but it was still worth the long drive from central IL to Houston. Since we were so far from the ring, we could barely see what was going on in the ring, and wound up watching most of the show on the screens instead of the actual ring, but the atmosphere was amazing, so it wasn't as bad as it may sound. I'm hoping to go to WM next year, since it's here in Illinois, but I guess it depends on how fast it sells out, since the Horizon isn't that big.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 Welcome to the board RVB. I just wanted to post since I see that you're from Mt. Zion. I grew up in Springfield and attended Christian Elementary School there along with Glenwood High School in Chatham. I know we played against Mt. Zion in basketball and/or football, but I can't remember if I was in elementary school or high school when that took place. Maybe it was both.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 I was at last year's WrestleMania. I hope they have it again in Atlantic City or Philly so I can go to another one. Guest thecobra2 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 I went to Wrestlemania 18 in Toronto and Wrestlemania 19 in Seattle. Both events were without a doubt the two best wrestling shows I ever went to. Not because of the wrestling but just the experience.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 I don't know why I did not go to WM 2000 in Anaheim. Maybe the Pond was sold out or my father did not want to pay the price. I did not go in 1996 because I was not a wrestling fan till about Summerslam that year.
pochorenella 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2005 I have three Manias under my belt: 2000, X-7, and XX. Each of them have been awesome experiences I'll never forget. I seem to be tied with some other guy that also has three.

Guest Miss Indy Queen Report post Posted April 6, 2005 I've been to 18, 19, 20 and 21. I gotta say the crowd this year in LA was weird. They popped in the beginning and at the end but during the match, it was like they sat on their hands except for Angle/HBK when they started to get into it. cbacon 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2005 I've been to X8 and drove to New York to XX. I was having second thoughts about the New York trip but I would have killed myself for not being apart of the atmosphere that was Benoit's victory celebration
Guest news_gimmick Report post Posted April 6, 2005 Hey, I've gotta admit my fondness for Mania 9 as well. That was the show that got me into watching wrestling full time LOL. Anyways, I am going to look into heading off to WM 21 in Chicago as well, it'll be my first time to one and I am VERY excited.
