Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 There are still more Sin City stories to tell. I was hoping for a better opening, maybe seeing Sin City the night the Pope died was just a bad omen for people
Guest Shadow Report post Posted April 3, 2005 Can someone explain how they get these things back so quick? and why dont they count Sundays? people dont see movies on sunday? I usually go to movies on sundays more then ne other day.
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted April 3, 2005 It's all estimates for Friday and Saturday. They use statistics from the past and theater exit polls to come up with the Sunday numbers, but it's not that unusual for the total numbers to be off a few million give or take. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 28 million, not bad. Now watch the city of Boston and a bunch of SNL fans totally ruin the hopes for a sequel by going to see "Fever Pitch". Constantine may be out of the Top 10 in the US, but the movie has easily made the money back thanks to huge numbers overseas. Get some good DVD sales and my hope for a Constantine sequel may not be dead. Bleeding, but not dead.

I have two DVDs to relive the 2004 Red Sox season thank you. I might check this one out on DVD along the road. It'll probably be a big date movie. Besides, people over here want to kill Fallon and Barrymore for running onto the field in St. Louis for this anyway. People seriously said that it ruined the moment for them. I didn't like that they ran onto the field either, but if that ruins the moment for you- you have issues and just want to find something to bitch about since Boston win. (not you personally PK) 28 million is a fantastic opening- it beat the Kill Bill movies. Since it will make an easy profit- I think a sequel is a given
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 I just don't think Jimmy Fallon's good enough to carry a movie. Makes sense to have Drew in the movie for that reason, but I don't think I could take a movie with that much Fallon
Guest JMA Report post Posted April 3, 2005 I still haven't seen Sin City yet, but I'm greatly looking forward to it. I wonder how much money it'll make today.
