Since Unsolved Mysteries and Tales from the Crypt have already been done I'll go with Beyond belief, Fox's TV show.

1> The boy who told his brother there as a monster in the closet and his older brother picked on him endlessly about it, but finally the big brother went into the closet...closed the door and when it was opened all they ever found was the clothes the boy was wearing

2> A cementary keeper is verbally abusive to his staff and speaks ill of the dead. At the end of the bit, the man see's a ghost who's chanting :"An evil old man...not well bred...no respect for anyone...not even the dead..." And the man dies of a fright induced heart attack

3> A man is getting bullied, but finds a super hero costume...when he puts it on he gains strength beyond his physical bounds and is able to fend off the bad guys

did they ever offer proof these stories were true?

Author Robert Tralins researched and wrote over 100 books back in the 60's-90's. That is where these stories come from. (1st hand accounts)

This show ruled back in like 98. Is it still on?

I still remember seeing that closet monster story on its first run.

Off the air since 2002

Sci Fi shows it when ever

I have a two part question about the monster in the closet story

#1: What police officer would buy it? I mean seriously, there has got to be a cop out there looking for a real killer or still investigating the parents

#2: If your child gets eaten by the closet, isn't it time to MOVE?

>The guy makes friends with some bathroom attendant. Spills red wine on his shirt before an interview and gets the guy to clean it. He comes back later that night to tell the attendant the good news and the mater d (thats the name?) tells him Charlie has been dead for 20 years.

>Son and father out of body experience. Dad is in the mountains and gets stuck and son helps him. Dad comes back home and goes to a bar and wonders how his son beat him back. Son never left the bar, or the girl he was with at the time.

>Dont remember the exact details but its a little boy getting bullied at camp and the bullys sneak off at night and get attacked by wolves. The little kid has an out of body experience and saves them by throwing his lunch at them. The bullys get back to the tent and the kid is sleep and never woke up.

The story about the graveyard freaked me out too. I always say that line to my brother and it scares him. Theres some more, I just gotta think of them. But the Charlie story owns them all.

Awesome. Never saw that one. I have a few episodes on tape from '02 when Sci Fi started showing them. One that I remember is a guy who cheats at card games until one day a cowboy like charachter comes into the saloon or whatever it is and beats him. At the end, they pan away from the charachters and over to the wall with a photo of the guy who was apparently the hanging judge in that town back in 1902. I believe it was true, as well.

Another one about card was this: A new guy comes into a bar and starts playing poker with some regulars. He wins but the guys think he must have cheated, so they shoot and kill him. Later on (maybe years later?) a young man comes into the bar and the same regualrs are there playign cards. They invite him to join since he says hes never played before and figure they can rip him off. But he starts winning and keeps on doing so till he takes all their money. at the end they somehow find out that the young guy is the son of the man they had shot earlier. I belive it turned out to be true but I forget. But you previous post there made me think of this one.
