Guest MentallyNormal Report post Posted April 11, 2005 Programs like xnews,freeagent,newsbin,newsleecher are programs that search/read and download binary files from newsgroups. For instance if you have an internet service provider,they usually have access to newsgroups for free. Accces through your isp really is limited though,sometimes files are incomplete,it's slow etc. You can always try that out first to become familar with them. They're newsgroup providers you can subscribe too like giganews,astraweb,etc... These you pay a fee a month like 24 bucks,but you get unlimited access to all newsgroups and they are super fast.
