Standing in front of a plain, non-descript wall, the three members of Martial Law are stood in Bohemian Rhapsody like position for this, a special internet promo.

 

"Greetings to all our Little Martials out there in cyberspace." smiles Maddix, cutting off Cortez before he gets chance to start talking. "Martial Law, sitting in with you ahead of our BIG match this coming Monday. And you know Todd, I never thought this day would come. I really, truly believed that the powers that be had looked over Martial Law in the tag team ranks. Week after week of begging, pleading, sexual favours..."

 

"Sexual favours?"

 

"Uhm...scratch that last one. But yeah, we begged and we pleaded. We have campaigned for this tag team title shot for some time. And now, finally, the time is here. Wild and Dangerous...the day has finally arrived. April 18th, myself and Todd Cortez are getting our shot at the World Tag Team Titles. But, the question on everyone's minds is...has it come too late. Has all the weeks of waiting been long enough to tear Martial Law apart. Well...I'll level with you guys. Me and the Toddster, we've been having disagreements recently. We've been on hard times. Alan Clark getting injured just seemed to make the cracks that bit more fragile. But right now, we have news for you Wild and Dangerous...we're ready."

 

Cortez nods in the background, as Maddix smiles, rubbing his hands together.

 

"We're ready and we're as solid a team as ever. We've sat down and talked out our differences, cleared the air...and the end result is Martial Law, more united than we've ever been. With one common goal. Winning those tag team titles."

 

"That's right Landon. You se..."

 

"That IS right Todd, that is right. Because me and Todd, we both have axes to grind with Wild and Dangerous. We're no strangers to you two guys. The House of Todd and Hollywood Boulevard had many a run-in with Wild and Dangerous at different times, in different eras. I might not have ended up on the better end of our exchange, but things are much, much different now."

 

"Right. They..."

 

"...are MUCH different."

 

Cortez, interrupted again, rolls his eyes and decides to let Maddix get on with his 'thing'.

 

"We've taken the best from The House of Todd and Hollywood Boule...well...I guess, maybe, Van Siclen was 'better' than Todd Cortez. He's gone though. But...my man Cortez was certainly better than that masked guy with the egg machine."

 

"Thanks."

 

"No problem, partner. We've taken the parts of those teams, merged them together...and come up with a combination that can and will take the World Tag Team Championships from around the waists of Wild and Dangerous."

 

Rubbing his neck now, Maddix smiles to himself.

 

"You know...my neck is still a little sore. Taking a Super Wild Ride is no fun at the best of times. Add in the effects Toxxic had on my neck and as you can imagine, I'm not superb condition. But Wildchild, rest assured, I know what you can do. You had a HUGE contribution in forcing Todd Royal out of the SWF and into convelessence. You could have done the same to me on Lockdown. But...come match time, I will be ready. And you can bet that just as much as you're willing to drop us on our heads to get a victory...

Maddix turns to Cortez and nods to him, before the two of them face the camera.

 

"Whatever"
